Dr. Ranjith Wijeratne, MD

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Wijeratne. He has been an incredible source of support and expertise while caring for my mom during her battle with pancreatic cancer. From the very beginning, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that we could understand, making sure we felt informed and confident about her care.Beyond his medical knowledge, Dr. Wijeratne is truly compassionate. He genuinely cares about his patients, always taking the time to ask how my mom is feeling and remembering details about her journey. His personable nature and kind demeanor have made an incredibly difficult time a little easier for our family.It’s rare to find a doctor who is not only highly skilled but also warm, patient, and deeply committed to their patients' well-being. We are beyond grateful to have Dr. Wijeratne on our side, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a gastroenterologist who truly goes above and beyond.

I appreciated Dr. Wijeratne's professional, caring attitude toward a family member who needed continual care throughout his illness. Not an easy task while practicing in an underserved, rural area. Although the patient load must have been extremely difficult to coordinate, Wijeratne and his office worked diligently in following up with specialists in Dallas who were primarily involved with my family member's pre-transplant care. I absolutely recommend this doctor to anyone seeking medical care.

If I could leave 0 stars I would...I have been diagnosed with Chrohs, gerd, and lupus... this joke of a doc made me wait 4 months to see him,I had to wait a month after calling them for him to get my records to even schedule an appointment.. after now waiting 5 months,he calms he never got my record and he doesn't care what they say...he is a very Poor mannered doc that I would trust seeing ever again... KINGMAN NEEDS A GI DOC THAT KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING.. DON'T SEE THIS DOC.. HE IS A JERK!

Very rude & very unprofessional from first visit to pre op for upper GI While in hospital this doctor admitted his lack of experience and told me to find a new doctor in a bigger city after my son was put under for procedure which glad was not done by this joke of a doctor.
