Dr. Raquel Mitchell, MD

She loves her job, and you can see it in the way she treats patients. She is always kind and patient, she listens and gives you a chance to speak and answers all concerns in a very clear manner. She is very friendly, and is not the computer only type of pediatrician, she always remembers my daughter when she sees her and my daughter loves her. Always has a smile on her face and makes you feel comfortable even as a first time mom when some doctors make you feel dumb for asking questions. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Dr. Mitchell was interested in and showed concern about the child. She was interactive both with the child and caregivers. She showed less concern about possible genetic predispositions that exist for the child. Not sure why, maybe these are more of a concern for older ages.

From my first interaction with Dr. Mitchell until now, my family and I have experienced the best pediatric care for our son. We experienced a somewhat difficult time after giving birth and this time was burdened with several specialists and numerous office visits for our then sickly son. Dr. Mitchell is an extremely patient and caring health care practitioner who was a breath of fresh air then and now.
