Call New Orleans Breast Center!
Please call the Breast Center in New Orleans! It is worth the plane ticket and hotel. They take most insurance! I got a nipple sparing double mastectomy and sub pectoral implants done in only one surgery with highly skilled micro surgeons! Please just educate yourself before letting any surgeon cut your entire breasts off and ruin your life for years, no matter how terrorized you are of cancer. Exceptional!
Dr. Prati performed a bilateral mastectomy for me. One of the most caring doctors I have ever seen in all of my cancer journey. She literally stood and held my hand in the operating room until I was asleep talking to me and letting me know she was there and going to do the best job possible. After the surgery she has continued to give the very best care and make sure that I am comfortable with her and can discuss any problems or questions I have for her.

Dr Prati is OUTSTANDING surgeon. She is easy to talk to and takes a lot of time with her patients. I felt very comfortable talking to her. She is a great surgeon! I heeled well and can barely see any scaring. She did her homework on my case so anytime I go to see her I don’t have to repeat my history over and over. She is very encouraging and makes you feel very comfortable. She does all she can to help you with your health issue. Definitely recommend her!

Dr. Prati knew that I was fit and active so she offered FOR MY BENEFIT to have me do chemo first.This made for a more challenging surgery because the tumor could be gone leaving nothing to gauge the margins.Following chemo,she removed the formerly cancerous tissue.Her incision placement was discreet and hidden. I never had any pain, discomfort & felt like I never had surgery.She called as soon as pathology was back. No one would ever know that I had surgery and I look and feel like pre-surgery.
