Dr. Brown is probably one of the top three doctors I have had in my long life. She is attentive, understanding and knows the right questions to ask to determine if I might need tests, lab work or to see a specialist. At the time of this review I've been with her three years, and won't change doctors unless I move.

Don't self advocate with this one
Went in after leg pain that was keeping me up for days. She had me lie down on my back & moved my legs all around, knees up as far as they could go, rotating each hip, one at a time. This caused absolutely no hip pain or discomfort. She proclaimed it was pain from my hips, although it was my lower legs bothering me. When I dared to say, I really don't think it's hip pain, she snapped, 'obviously, you don't believe I have the medical knowledge or expertise to help you, maybe it's best you find a different provider'. I was honestly shocked and almost snapped back but just said maybe you're right. Hip x-rays came back normal, no apology but a notarized letter by mail that she dropped me as a patient and that I go to a whole different clinic so I wouldn't possibly see her after hours. Mind you, I'd seen a fantastic doctor there for years that had left the clinic. Bonus is I got an awesome doctor after that who found my Potassium was low.. quick fix with supplements.

I'm very happy with Dr. Rashanda Brown!
Dr. Brown is my primary care doc, and has been for over 5 years. She is concerned, listens and takes into account my opinion and suggestions, and comes up with the best "fix" she can. Sometimes it can be hard to get in quickly for an appointment, but if it's "urgent" it can usually be arranged, or an alternate doc in her practice will be available. This issue is, unfortunately, universally common in this day and age, and is no fault of Dr. Brown or any other doc currently practicing... I've been very happy with Dr. Brown and appreciate her attentive help!

I enjoyed my first and only meeting with Dr. Brown, but had to wait 45 minutes to see her. She was quite thorough during that meeting, but afterwards, I had nothing but frustrating experiences communicating with her via email. It felt as if she was only reading about 1/2 of each email I sent. I gave up eventually, and found a different doctor at a different medical group, because it wasn't worth the amount of stress and time wasted.

The incompetence of this doctor is astonishing. For all her education and experience she doesn't actually have any ideas about treatment. As an older patient I am looking for therapies that improve my quality of life. Not cop-out suggestions such as going vegetarian will miraculously cure decades worth of chronic pain. Also the two times she actually conceded to prescribe something the order was written so badly the pharmacy wouldn't fill it.

I saw Dr Brown recently and every time I see her I am more pleased than the last. She takes time to look back and see what previous issues I have had, asks questions and encourages questions from me. She has a great bedside manner, is friendly and caring and is the best doctor I have seen in Salem.

Dr. Brown is wonderful as my primary care provider. She takes time and encourages you to ask questions. I never feel like she is in a rush to end my appointment so she can move on to her next appointment.

She is very sweet, cheerful, and listens to her patients; she has a great bedside manner. However, waiting for call-backs can be frustrating - and sometimes you have to call in to find out results that they've had for 5 days. It's also been frustrating trying to get the tests and treatments I need.

Dr. Brown is the greatest! She is my wife's and my primary physician. She listens well; makes us feel at ease. She knows general medicine so that she can answer our questions and concerns. I do highly recommend her, except I selfishly don't want her to get overloaded!

Got stuck talking to this lady after having an after hours urgent matter. His colleague had seen me the day before for a severe sinus infection and she refused to prescribe me antibiotics over the phone. She told me she would be reviewing my chart and would be calling me back but she never did. I ended up in urgent care as I had mucus coming out of my tear ducts, a cough indicating the sinus infection was spreading into my lungs and. She was very argumentative and acted like I was bothering her.

Dr. Brown hasn't been my doctor for very long yet, but I've seen her several times and have been really impressed by her manner and the fact that she really listened to me. She made excellent suggestions, reviewed my meds and "tweaked" them a bit, and made me feel she cared about me - and respected me - as a person and a patient. I am very glad she's my doc, and feel confident in her judgment and competence.
