Dr. Tamayo is an amazing physician! He is a knowledgeable and caring physician that is proactive in his treatment and not reactive. He listens to his patients and looks at his patients in the totality. I have been his patient for several years, and look forward to being in his care for many years to come. He has a small practice that permits him time to listen and have the personalize care that makes him the amazing person/physician that he is.

I experienced the misfortune of being connected with Dr. Tamayo through my membership with a concierge medical organization after my awesome PCP suddenly passed. Dr. Tamayo and his staff were EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful in providing care, even though I was a member of the network to which they belong. After several days of waiting for a response and multiple phone calls, I finally spoke with him, and I was astonished at his cavalier and condescending comments to me. Absolutely do not recommend!

35 plus years as our whole family doctor, we have been his patients, now he is MDVIP, $1800.00 a year in addition to paying for each visit with insurance or medicare for each person. My husband and I want to retire at age 71 and 70 and we cannot afford this since all he ever does is send you to specialists or prescribe antibiotics and send you on your way. Plus doctors are not taking new patients during this crisis, and Dr.Tamayo will not see my husband who needs refills on his heart meds. Even though he saw him last June, less than a year ago because he did not join his MDVIP for $1800.00 a year.

Dr. Tamayo is a great Doctor, what I don’t like is poor costumer service he has at the office and waiting time. 90% of my visits which is twice a year I have to wait between 40 to one hour for them to call me and then wait in the room for another 30 to 40 minutes. His practice is great but he needs more staff . He’s the only Medical staff plus a one medical assistants. One receptionist sometimes two but that’s all. They don’t answer the phones when you call . Terrible . That’s why I give 3 stars.
