Unprofessional receptionist
Dr Tikoo is a good doctor and he listens. He just have some very unprofessional and rude receptionists in the jersey city office. They have really bad attitudes always getting into arguments with the patients.. They don’t care about nothing , you ask them a question and they act like you are bothering them. They are very disgustingly rude to the patients and tikoo does nothing about it. He needs to get new receptionists that actually wants to be there and do their job professionally..

I tried to get a letter with my meds on it and there was no success. Trying for 2weeks to get an appointment by phone with no success. Great doctors need to replace staff they are killing customer services ?????

He’s a decent doctor. He will listen. If you have good insurance they’ll run as many tests as they can, many unnecessary. If you refuse to have anEMG done on your legs, say, and you don’t want to pull down your pants for an unprofessional staff, they’ll threaten to not send your prescriptions to your pharmacy. Furthermore, anyone with a drug dependence or addiction history should NOT see him: he prescribes a cocktail of drugs that some pharmacists say they simply can’t in good faith fill them all. Worst part is the wait. He’s typically an hour late. The waiting room is PACKED. The atmosphere is one of an urgent care on some small island in the Caribbean. Frankly it doesn’t feel safe and in all honesty it’s a pill mill that you don’t typically find anymore since the 2008 opioid crackdown. The office staff is miserable and will take out their frustrations on you. But once you’re on these meds, good luck finding another doctor to maintain his unorthodox almost Michael Jackson-level of RX.

Spinal fusion Chronic Pain – Feb 20, 2023

Doctor Tikoo was one of the worst medical experiences of my life. The office is dark, dingy and dirty. The staff does not wear masks properly in the middle of a pandemic. The office literally does not answer the phone - how can you deal with customers who have serious issues with MRI authorizations, insurance, etc. if you don't answer the phone? I would NEVER recommend this to anyone.

I never leave reviews but I have to on this one for everyone else's benefit. Disgusting. Staff is completely unprofessional. If you have an appointment time, do not count on them to hold the correct time. They will let the people who arrived first in or people that they favor before you. Staff curses loudly and jokes around in the waiting room. I have been here three times out of necessity, have seen the actual doctor twice, and was in there for 2 minutes as he wrote me a pain prescription, did a nerve test, and scheduled an MRI. Only reachable on Fridays as I suffered in the ER for pain that wasn't managed well. Very unconcerned doctor. Switching doctors immediately. Avoid this one if you want proper treatment. Update: I will also clarify that they side talked about complainers in the waiting room, claiming late arrival. I was on time, so many others were here before me. The first people they let in was 8:11. Tons of 8am appointments locked outside, while 9:30am 10am were allowed in.

I've posted here before. Dr. Tikoo is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable and genuine doctors I've ever known. Most of his staff is not at all a reflection of the doctor they work for. I have been yelled at, called a liar, been hung up on, and they never ordered the prescriptions the doctor gave them to order, without a huge to-do. Every month I had to fight tooth and nail to get them. Some months I went completely without. This is one major problem the doctor has. He is so busy that his office staff runs amok to the detriment of his reputation and his patients. I have left his practice, regrettably.

The doctor is good, listens, and show care about his patients needs. The location has mostly everything in the same office. So most testing necessary can be handled in office. The staffs, especially in medical records are beyond horrible, a negative star wasn't possible. incident, a record was requested, and they took 2 Months to release the record to the doctor sharing the same office space with them. 2 MONTHS, after 3 release forms and endless physical appeals for the records. Second, SSD office requested a letter on behalf of my mom. I faxed the request needed, and then my mom dropped it off. Called them, and got a call back days later stating it would take a week to get the letter. 1 1/2 week from drop off date, I am told to wait another 2 weeks because the doctor left the country and didn't get to sign the letter. When asked why, because the office manager never typed up the letter and as of 2 days ago the doctor left. This is the North Bergen office, not about other location

Horrible!! Doesnt examine patients- makes you wait 2-3 hours crammed in with 10-20 other patients while he sits in his office. No follow up,does not keep good records, sends out incorrect letters. If you want treatment don't go there if you want someone to just shove Scripts down your throat have At it! I have already reported him.

Honestly, the wait is terrible, but Dr. Tikoo is very empathetic toward me as a patient. He is well informed and stays abreast of best practices. If it was not for him I wouldn't be able to have the quality of life it takes to be a good employee, husband, and father. I thank you Doc and my family thanks you as well. Additionally, if you treat his staff with respect, they are more than willing to reciprocate. I could not imagine having to deal with what they have to deal with on a regular basis.

WARNING: HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!! HORRIBLE!!! Most unprofessional doctor in Hudson County. On your appointment day, bring a pillow, food and water for your 2-3 hour long wait. Expect just a prescription and nothing more. Oh yeah, we will all be reading about 'this guy' once he's caught cheating the system, which is exactly what usually happens to crooked doctors. P.S. Don't try calling the office. No one ever answers... hahahaaaaa! "What's Up Doc"

If I could give 0 stars to this office I would. The wait time from the moment you walk in to the moment you see the physician is 3 hours. Every time. In addition, the staff is lazy and unhelpful. When I was finally able to find another neurologist and requested my medical records, it took MONTHS and many many hours of phone calls. I spent more time calling this office than at my job. My advice is if you've been referred to this office then run for the hills.

This place is very dodgy, when u walk in it feels like your are going into a 3rd world health facility. The scheduling is extremely terrible, patients cramp in the office for hours waiting for service. The 2 times i went there i was waiting for at least 3 hours to see the doctor. This is not acceptable at all considering the cost of this service. The staff is very rude and slow. The nurses/assistants have no idea what they are doing. I will not set foot at this place again.

Awful! Never did an examine on me. Just sat behind his desk typing and asking questions. Didn't seem to know how to treat my problem. Office very poor kept. I would have a 330 appointment and wouldn't be seen until 530 almost 6 o'clock. Everytime you go for an appointment the staff is different and they don't know what to do. They are also extremely rude.
