Not good experience
I felt like cattle moving through. Not telling me what they are doing. No explanations. I had to walk out during exam. Bad treTment of patients.

In the year and a half since I put myself in their care I have only seen the doctor once! All appointments have been with his PA - why am I paying for a doctor's visit when I never see him? Medications that they prescribed for me put me in the hospital emergency room more than a half dozen times - the PA at the hospital called the office and left the message I was in the hospital with ketoasidosis - one of the major issues with the medication - did anyone from the office call to check on me? No! Did they tell me to stop taking the meds? No! My last trip to the emergency room and subsequent week long stay the hospital's PA figured out what was causing the issues - the meds prescribed by Dr. Vaughters team! If there were another endocrinologist I'd be booking an appointment!

Long waits. Doesn’t see patients, relies on PAs.

My 70 year old mother lost her husband 3 months ago. Now she's seeing Dr. Vaughters for tests on her thyroid. Dr. Vaughters made her cry and got her so worked up she needed to see another doctor for a Xanax prescription. He was running late on his over-booked appointments and took it out on an old lady who was scared about having a needle stuck in her throat to biopsy her glands. He was gruff, unprofessional and blamed it all on the patient - "I had no idea you were so sensitive". Bad Doctor.

I have been seeing Dr Vaughters for several years. He's a very knowledgeable and excellent doctor. He takes his time and explains and answers questions thoroughly. The nurses that call the blood are literally perfect personality and in skill. However, the front desk particularly where you check-in customers the staff person is ignorant about customer service and is just rude.

I really like dr. Vaughters and he helped me quite a bit but because of his office staff lack of follow-through on paperwork it's really difficult to get in to see him when you require a referral from your primary care physician. I've been off my medication for a year because I can't get a new referral without going through the entire process from being a new patient innocence and I just can't afford it but no one's willing to help just send my last blood work back to my primary care physician.

The ladies at the front desk always seem irritable and are very short. They are not welcoming, warm, friendly, or helpful. I very rarely get to see Dr. Vaughters; it seems that I see the PA always. It is very hard to get a return call from the nurse. I was given new meds to take and have been waiting for their office to take care of the prior authorizations for 2 months (after I've called them numerous times and the pharmacy has contacted them via phone & fax).

Not sure about the doctor but this office is horrible. I have spent the last 3 months trying to get an RX through them and have been unsuccessful. Had issues with the last RX as well. My opinion is the staff couldn't care less about the patient. They always send you to a voice mail when you have issues and never return your call. Now I have to start all over with my issues at yet another doctor. Hopefully the new doctor cares more for the patients than the money.

Wow is all I can say! I have to say that this was one of the Best visits to a doctor ever. He spent alot of time with me and listened to my concerns. He wrote it all down and ordered several test. Made me feel like he was gonna figure it out and get me back to feeling good again. I'm so excited to say the least. All of his office personal treated me with concern and care. Thanks to all for a Great experience :-)
