Our family has seen Dr.Hooft for over 20 years! He’s always given us the best service possible! We think he’s one of the best Drs. in the valley! We all consider him a friend as well! We Are sad to see him go and will miss him! The Russell family!

Dr.Hooft is the best primary care physician in Boise. Me and my entire family have gone to Dr.hooft since I was born . I'm (28) he truly cares about his patients and has always diagnosed correctly when normally a specialist would be used. I saw a specialist before for overactive bladder. The specialist recommended kankle excersises and to go to physical therapy after a painful procedure that required unnecessary pain. Dr. Hooft listened and realized It was simply OA and my problem was solved .

Dr. Hooft provides his patients, my wife and I with excellent advice and options. Dr. Hooft is prompt and cordial in his affect and exudes confidence and humility. Dr. Hooft has been my medical advisor for over 25 years. In the past, he assisted my children and wife with illnesses, injuries, scrapes and bruises. As a retiree I depend upon Dr. Hooft for personal care, and advice on health. He has a wide knowledge base in medicine and maintains a patient, friendly, and efficient medical staff. Additionally Ray possesses a sense humor that combines with his compassion. I recommend Dr. Hooft unconditionally to those needing medical help. Patrick

After seeing the Dr for several month for pinched nerves and two bulged disks. I went to a nearologist and he recommended spinal fusion in two locations but could not guarantee a pain reduction. So I decided to just deal with my pain for a while since I'm 34 and not ready for surgery. Dr. Hooft referred me to a pain specialist that was unable to see me after 2pm. I work 6-3pm daily and can't miss. Since I can't go, our dr is refusing to help me any further. If your in pain go elsewhere. Thanks

I went to Hooft for 10 years until his staff did something very unprofessional. As a health professional myself, I had never seen the little game the NP and a staffer did. Very, very uncalled for and ignorant. I complained to Hooft, he did nothing. He later said he could not see me anymore. I suppose don't complain if you go to him. I would not call him a real doctor and would think there are better. He hardley cares about his patients, I feel.
