Dr. Raymond Lance, MD

Dr. Lance is extremely competent and has a delightful bedside manner. He is the reason I chose to have my surgery in Spokane rather than at a bigger hospital. Aside from Dr. Lance being a great surgeon, I have to give him two stars based on his staff. If you are expecting any care or compassion you will be in the wrong office. Messages are never returned and when you get upset the staff will simply hang up the phone. Their customer service is bar-none the worst I have ever experienced in the health care industry. If you need a life saving surgery, then go to Dr. Lance, if you want a life saving surgery without the hassle of a rude front office then go anywhere else. I have never written a single review in my entire life, but felt compelled to by the level of utter unprofessionalism that I have experienced at Dr. Lance's office.

Dr Lance thorough excellent care. Front office worst ever. I wonder if they ever answer the phone, even tried physicians line no answer after 7 rings. Stayed on hold 29, 25, 10 minutes on different days of the week.

Many reviews attest to the fact that Dr. Lance is a nice guy, that he explains things clearly, and that he is comforting. All these are true and are important traits, but of utmost importance is the fact that he is an excellent excellent and meticulous surgeon. He is up to date on the latest techniques, is a competent diagnostician and wisely suggests the best treatment options. If you want the best possible outcome, Dr. Lance is the surgeon you can trust to deliver.

Very helpful in explaining options leading up to robotic removal of prostate versus radiation. Absolutely made the best choice for me. Excellent surgery with minimal pain. Highly recommend this fine physician and caring person.

An absolutely outstanding doctor. He has performed over 1500 prostate surgeries, the vast majority via robotic method. My personal experience is that I had an unusually large prostate that created additional potential issues. Dr Lance's experience enabled him to expertly handle my case resulting in an outstanding outcome. He is patient, helpful, personable, and knowledgeable. I cannot overstate how highly I regard Dr. Lance. As far as office wait time, depends on emergency surgeries.
