Genuine care from a top-notch doctor.
Dr. Petrillo took care of my dialysis needs for over four years and then continued to monitor me for another five after transplant. He is my favorite doctor of all time. He got me out of a couple of scary health situations and back to place where I could be relisted. I would not have received a transplant without his help. He is very personable and easy to talk with. Not only was he my doctor, but a good friend, too. He moved to Hawaii from Oregon recently to finish his career. While I miss him, I wish him and his patients well. He is the real deal.

Upon meeting Dr. Petrillo, it was evident of his care and concern for my Mother's well being. Changing, eliminating or questioning medications for future use was discussed in a very compassionate manner. Thank you for everything, but most importantly making the connection with my Mom.

Dr. Petrillo is way more than a nephrologist, he is a caring physician who genuinely tries to help his patients. He took the time to help me figure out what could heal me even though it was in areas beyond the function of my kidneys. He did this by teaching, explaining, and kind words. He did not rush the session. And he calendared a follow up phone call to me in two weeks, even though he did not feel I was going to need a follow up visit. Top of my chart for physicians I have seen. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Petrillo for twenty-two years, from the onset of kidney disease through eighteen years of a successful transplant. He is smart, sensitive and a very good listener. I couldn’t be more fortunate than to be under the excellent care of Dr. Petrillo and NW Renal Clinic.

Doctor Petrillo, while clearly demonstrating his high level of subject expertise, maintains a perfect broader sense of patient needs. Supporting this sentiment, Doctor worked a last second appointment into his schedule on a Friday afternoon, displaying a pure willingness to provide care with little existing new patient information. He cares. This matters.
