I'm a physician myself who has managed large scale practices and bore witness to flagrant over-billing by this provider. He spent 15 minute and utilized unjustified coding for simply writing a referral to ENT because he didn't have the time or confidence to relate to a bread and butter primary care issue. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and state that I know high volume institutions like Weill Cornell may incentivize optimal visit coding for maximum reimbursement. However, I came in for a well visit and was charged for far more than that in the same amount of time and exam. I had no complaint and did not even ask for a referral. The evaluation was a simple physical exam. No procedures were offered and no additional counseling. I've gathered from comments elsewhere that this is not an uncommon experience.

Very systematic review of my health question
I really wanted to be sure my lingering symptoms were not something worse. I walked away knowing exactly what I needed to do. I appreciate my systematic evaluation and the consideration for my not feeling great.

Great Internist
I was so lucky to get an appointment with Dr. Zou. I had been coughing for over a week and Dr. Zou read my entire medical history, did a thorough exam . He ordered a chest X-ray an inhaler as well as two antibiotics. I felt that my medical care was perfect and that Dr. Zou cared.

Attentive and prompt
Telehealth
Dr. Zou was the on-call physician who took care of me after returning from a business trip. On a Sunday, he was on a video visit with me within 5 minutes of calling the after hours line. He was kind, listened and helpful. Another great physician at Weill Cornell.
