Horrible experience - wasted trip to Mayo
Dr. Saadiq seemed knowledgeable during my first visit. She set up a plethora of appointments to try and diagnose something that (in hindsight) may have been a long covid issue. She spent a lot of time at the first visit, my partner was with me, we both felt like she would be helpful. She was supposed to create a protocol for when I returned home. She never did. I reached out, she never responded. I complained, she finally did a telehealth (for which she was not licensed to do in my state) and did a complete 180 about everything we discussed. She said she suspected something that she had specifically been ruled out by prior tests. I spent thousands of dollars travelling to Mayo but she didn't have the working memory to recall what she discussed initially and was unhelpful with any protocol or follow up. I had notes of what she said but she dismissed these - it is like she is two different people. One caring and one utterly incompetent. You won't know which you will get.

Avoid at all costs - ZERO Stars
She is an unprofessional, neglectful, unresponsive, and incompetent. She order thousands of dollars of tests. Some of my tests came back abnormal and these results were never explained to me. I respectfully reached out to her for an explanation and next steps and she never responded. After months of waiting, and after having paid for the tests, I finally reached out to the Mayo Clinic Office of Patient Experience. They agreed that I had respectfully engaged with her, and she even refused to respond to them! Luckily, Mayo Clinic is amazing and they were willing to find me a new Internist who is responsive and caring. Mayo Clinic has many wonderful physicians, and she is not one of them! She does not live the Mayo Clinic value of "the needs of the patient come first." If you want a provider who will abandon you, who is incompetent, and uncaring - then she's the provider for you. Otherwise, avoid seeing her at all costs! Ask Mayo Clinic for another Internist if you get stuck with her.

Drove from Texas to Minnesota after my local doctor recommended to see Dr. Rayya. Never seen someone so intelligent, patient and caring. After years of suffering I was diagnosed and cared for. Thank you Dr. Rayya. My kids will have their mother by their side for years to come. Dr. Rayya assured that if I do the right thing, eat right, exercise right, my heart will be ok for years to come.

Dr Rayya Saadiq is the best Doctor I have ever met. Years later her comments still reveal her insight and wisdom. Years ago Dr Saadiq indicated in passing she sensed I had a disproportionate stomach. She indicated that if she was my primary care Doctor she would investigate the cause. They just found a 10cm cancerous tumor. This Doctor is so gifted.
