Dr. Rebecca Crandall, MD

She was friendly and interested during the initial consult. That all changed once she charged my credit card. She had fees listed on her website but said no one looked there and the fees were considerably higher. She constantly interrupted ( what psychiatrist doesn't carefully listen to a patient?), made assumptions about my condition with no evidence to back them up, prescribed medications but never followed up to see how things were going, and when I called to tell her about my med experience (a 5 minute call), said all following communications would be billing appointments. She was dismissive even to the point of hostility. The only time she reached out was when she saw I had removed my credit card from further charges, and even then was defensive and haughty regarding her conduct.

I had a 20-30 video consultation with Dr. Rebecca Crandall in which she was impatience and offered a bad attitude. It was as if she was annoyed she had to listen to feelings...after she asked! Horrible 'bedside manners.' She prescribed medication. After a week, I contacted her because I was feeling worse. In a threatening tone, she offered two options: to decrease the dosage otherwise, "we'll have to have another meeting and that will expensive."

Dr. Crandall was direct and straight forward which helped me focus on myself. I read some of the reviews that said she was cold, but I was looking for a doctor, not a friend. I need someone to help me through my problems, and her firm yet compassionate demeanor allowed me to make better decisions and help myself. I would highly recommend. Communication was easy and getting my scripts filled was simple.

If you would like a detached psychiatrist, Dr. Crandall would be perfect for you! she lacks all doctor-patient relationship manners and skills whatsoever. you will feel you are talking to a brick wall!

Thank God for Dr. Crandall. She really helped me change my life. She isn't all about medications and has a lot of knowledge of other healing techniques, including therapy. but she got straight to the point and really took time to educate me about my illness and the medication.

Dr. Crandall is one of the best psychiatrists I have ever experienced. She listened to my concerns about starting medication, educated me about the meds, and made me feel comfortable with what I was prescribed. I would recommend her to anyone.
