I was told by her office employees that I had to find a new dr because it took too long for me to pay me bill with no job no money coming in for me I finally paid it off waited 30 days to make an appointment I tried calling at least 30 times to having nobody answering my telephone calls for I did, not receive an answer to this so what am I to do find a new dr or what.

I am impressed with Dr. Knight's wide ranging knowledge of current medical research that often suggests better ways of treatment and diagnosis than one finds in the typical Internal Medicine doctor. She is committed to digging deeper to find ways to improve health, rather then just treating symptoms with drugs. She actually listens to her patients, which seems to have become a rarity in the medical profession. However, to become a new patient with Dr. Knight, one must often be quite persistent, as organization does not seem to be a strong characteristic of this practice. And, if you insist on a quick visit that dispenses off the cuff decisions and prescriptions, this is not the doctor for you. I suggest reading some of her extensive discussion of her philosophy found on her web site before scheduling an appointment, to see if her approach is something you find attractive. (By the way, I am a male. She emphasizes females in her practice, but she is certainly able to work with men.)

I wasted 3 months of my time and health on this dr. She wanted labs prior to my appointment and they were not covered by my insurance. I tried to get the cost for them over the next month's time before the lab appointment. They never got me that info so I had to cancel the lab appointment. I never heard a word until I received an email less than a week before the appointment that it was canceled because I didn't have the labs done. They were over $4000, I'd like to meet her before spending that

I’m livid. I went in there for back pain as a last resort to try and get a medical card for pain. I end up leaving with $419 worth of lab test on my thyroid and gosh knows what else. I never asked for these tests nor when they had me come in did they tell me what they were for. I feel taken advantage of because I went in for one thing and they slapped with with a whole load of bills for something I never asked for or wanted. Those tests had nothing to do with my chronic back pain. It feels like

Dr Knight is extremely knowledgeable. The only obstacle would be getting an appointment in a timely manner. Often times weeks out. Perhaps too many patients as they do not seem to be able to accommodate the patients they currently have. Receptionist can be short at times.

Unhappy! I was a previous patient. I was put on a month waiting list. My condition worsened. When I saw Dr. Knight, she talked about her medical problems, her mother's medical problems and gluten free diets but no help for me. I took myself to a prompt care facility after her visit. Prompt care was wonderful. I will now always have a physical problem since I did not receive timely care from Dr. Knight. My insurance did not pay her services due to her excessive costs and lack of diagnostic info.

Dr. Knight herself is very knowledgeable and helpful.I definitely feel like you have to be your own advocate with her though. You need to know what your specific concerns are and what you want treated as she does not delve much deeper. She is also often 1 hour behind. She is very friendly though. Unfortunately her office staff is the opposite. Her secretaries are often rude. I was released from the ER with instructions to follow up immediately with her and her secretaries would not fit me in.

Being a healthcare provider myself, I want a PCP that is highly educated and motivated by research. I also want a practitioner that I can discuss any concerns with and come to a treatment plan together. I love that Dr Knight met all of my wants when looking for a Primary Care Physician. The best part of being a patient of Dr Knight's is that she isn't just going to identify a concern and throw a prescription medication at it, but approach the issue with many treatment options.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Knight?
Dr. Knight is the first doctor that has really tried very hard to figure out my symptoms. When other doctors would dismiss my symptoms, Dr. Knight took them very seriously. She took blood tests other doctors didn't or wouldn't take and knew how to interpret the results. The standard tests were normal, so the average doctor would not treat me and I would continue to suffer. She found the root to my problem based on the extra blood tests, knew how to interpret them, and treated me.

Dr. Knight has been my primary physician for more than 5 years. She is good at explaining medical problems and the reasons for recommending a particular treatment or medication. She is very down to earth in her manner and I am continually impressed by her diagnostic abilities and how much knowledge she has at her fingertips and is ready to share to help me understand what I need to do to get better. Her staff is friendly and professional. I have never been this satisfied with a doctor before.
