Dr. Rebecca Vogel, MD

Dr. Vogel showed me pictures and explained in detail how and why inguinal hernias occur. Talked openly and down to earth. Three weeks later I had a triple hernia repaired and it went without a hitch during the surgery and for 6 months since. She told me what to expect, some things not to do, and I didn't have any questions unanswered through the whole process. I was impressed and grateful.

Dr. Rebecca Vogel performed surgery on me last summer (2021). The work she did was exemplary, as her staff said are all of her surgeries. Happily, my surgeries were for fairly minor problems; but Dr. Vogel is a TRAUMA surgeon, and in that capacity she has SAVED the lives of many people who have had terrible physical traumas, usually arising from accidents of some kind, but sometimes even from gunshot wounds. ALL of those who work with Rebecca love the chance to do so; she is held in such a high degree of esteem by those who know her, both as a physician and as a human being.

I don't think I need to tell in detail. Yet, I will say that it was a horrific experience and she was horrific. She she is unfit to be a physician.

As you might imagine I was quite nervous coming in for surgery. Everyone single person I encountered during the day, from the input process, through the prep, in and out of the OR, and then in the post-op, was so friendly and professional that it went like a breeze. Dr. Vogel did her job easily, quickly and efficiently. Afterward my healing went smoothly, I believe in great part to her amazing skills. Granted I don't ever want to have surgery again, but if it becomes necessary, I will call her and rest easier with this experience to guide my expectations. ?

I had my pre surgery consult with Dr Vogel and was blown away by how caring, patient, knowledgeable, relatable, and helpful she was. Despite my difficult/mysterious medical history she went through everything, fought for my best care, made sure I was heard, and empathized with me. I'm super impressed and feel like I'm in great hands.

I would not recommend Dr. Vogel to perform any surgery. Due to her poor judgement and inexperience, the surgery she performed on me resulted in a failure and an extremely lengthy hospital stay. I am lucky to be alive. I would most definitely NEVER recommend her to anyone. I went to the hospital for pain and I was unfortunate that she was working at the hospital that day. Her place of employment has many good doctors but I would never have her perform any type of surgery on me ever again.
