Hit Or Miss Care
I have had Dr. Abou Nasr as my primary physician for several years. In general, she is a good physician. Sometimes she can be hit or miss: when I have a yeast infection, she often suggests I eat yogurt when it’s in my history that I need medication to treat them. She once brought up putting me on ADHD medication for weight loss, only to shutter at the thought a few months later. She is kind but doesn’t seem to be quite knowledgeable in a lot of specialities. I brought up how I avoid acetaminophen because of rebound headaches & she claimed that medication doesn’t cause that. I was in a pain program for six months partly due to rebound headaches caused by acetaminophen. I was handed off to her when my old practitioner moved, but since I have history with Dr. Abou Nasr I don’t see the point in switching again.

She’s wonderful !
I’ve been her patient for 22 years and have always had positive experiences. She’s patient and thorough. She allows plenty of time for me to express my concerns. She offers options for treatments. Her staff are wonderful. I suggested her to my daughter and mother. That says a lot.I can’t say enough good good things about her.

This place is terrible! My daughter was pregnant with her first child and showing signs of having a miscarriage. She went in due to her insistence, not theirs, with no urgency. Gave her a urine test only, said it was negative, and sent her home. We ended up taking her somewhere else to get the help she needed. She was panicked and in tears but they showed know empathy towards her and treated her as if she was a burden coming there. I went to the clinic to have my cholesterol checked by Nurse Darcie after changing my diet to avoid medication. She asked me many times why I was there and each time I told her cholesterol and heart check. Several calls made by me over the next three weeks resulted in being told they never did check it. The nursing staff lies and are rude. Which leads to Dr. Nasr who has a kind bedside manner but is more interested in how she will appear instead of prescribing you the medication that you need even if it’s been the only proven effective medication.
