Dr. Reema Batra, MD

I can’t believe this lady is a doctor. So heartless and cold. Doesn’t listen to her patients mostly just speaks over you. I’ve never felt so rushed and unheard. I was in her office for a total of 3 minutes. She acts like it’s an inconvenience to even speak to you. The rest of the reviews are spot on. Sharp is making a huge mistake by keeping her around. Especially when she has reviews like this. I couldn’t believe the way she was acting and speaking to me. She’s definitely in the wrong field that’s for sure. Never seen a doctor with so much attitude and angry demeanor. I will make sure to let my friends and family know about her so they never have to feel the way I just did.

I was very apprehensive about my condition until I had a session with Dr. Barta. She explained to me very thoroughly about our gameplan and I feel at ease that I am with the right Oncologist.

I switched oncologists, my previous one is not too interested in patients, you have to request her to see her, so you get the NP. The quality of care was subpar, so I left. I researched Dr. Batra, I went to see her and I was amazed at how different she was, she listens, she's knowledgable, she cares, and she is telling me about my condition, versus me asking the questions that the previous doctor should have been telling me. I was diagnosed with DCIS and LCIS. Dr. Batra could relate to me because she has had breast cancer. She cares and doesn't say " I think we probably could take care of this by ......." She makes sure your treatment is the best and that her colleagues all agree on the treatment plan to make sure one gets the best possible outcome.

Terrible doctor, got a referral to another hematologist and am much happier. Snarky, know it all attitude mixed with the vibe of not wanting to really be there.

I originally saw Dr. Batra for a blood test that was slightly out of range but she shared that another ratio made the other reading OK. In addition to being a hematologist she is also an oncologist and I have prostate cancer being treated by my urologist. My urologist had just started giving me a steroid, Lupron and Dr. Batra completely agreed with that treatment. It was nice to have her second opinion and I now see her as much for my prostrate cancer as my blood work.

She's not the type of doctor who knows it all. If she isn't a 100% sure she will tell you, go get the answer and get back to you. In my experience this is the best type of doctor to have!
