Best doctor in the world!
Dr. Trivedi saved my sister‘s life and did what no other doctor in a year could achieve. my sister has been in a deep psychosis for over a year and has been refusing treatment and medication. I begged the hospital to have her held on a 5250 has no other has been able to achieve this. The hospitals in the past release her back onto the streets after 72 hours because she refuses treatment and medication. Dr. Trivedi went above and beyond and was able to have my sister held for 14 days and forced to take medication against will. The judge granted the petition, and after a week of being on antipsychotic medicine and mood stabilizers, my sister started showing signs of improvement and her psychosis was broken. Within two weeks, I had my sister back to where she was before her psychotic breakdown. my sister, and I both owe our lives to Dr. Trevett as she went above and beyond to save my sister’s life. Now my nieces and nephews have their mother back, I have my sister back

She saved my son's life
Dr Trevedi was very persistent on keeping my suicidal son at El Canimo despite the insurance asking her to release him after 2 weeks. After 6 months she found the right combo of meds which made my son stable and functional again. That was 4 years ago.

Worst doctor
Reena is a horrible doctor. She is one of the worst doctors I have ever had. She has no patience for opinions other than her own. She is arrogant and disrespectful towards her patients. She frequently would yell at me and other patients at El Camino Hospital in-patient when they disagree with her. She makes cruel and insenstive remarks to people who are struggling, kicking them when they are already down. Reena Trivedi blames her patients for their symptoms and over medicates them while not explaining the full effects of medications. It is clear that she acts with insolence and believes that she knows more than her patients who have lived mental health experiences.

Dr. Trivedi treated our adult daughter as part of an inpatient program at El Camino Hospital, and we found her wonderful. She is extremely competent, responsive, and caring. She has been, by far, the best Psychiatrist that we have found for our daughter. She was able to communicate appropriately to both patient and family and made herself available for consults with both. We have complete faith in Dr Trivedi and her treatment plan.
