Dangeorusly clueless, no common sense
I took my son in by referral for a skin condition. Dr. Ahmad only seemed interested in prescribing stronger and stronger steroids. I asked some basic questions about the condition and whether it was appropriate to keep prescribing stronger medication without addressing potential causes of the issue. I guess even these elementary questions were too difficult for her, as at one point she grabbed her badge and said "see this, I am a medical doctor and have a degree". I later found an intelligent derm who solved the problem. My child has had good skin since.

I took my daughter to a Pediatric Dermatologist through PAMF and saw Dr. Ahmad. The visit was for Dr. Ahmad to look at a mole on my daughter's back. During the visit we discussed wearing sunscreen and I had questions regarding mineral vs. chemical based sunscreens and were chemical sunscreens bad? Dr. Ahmad started talking about how chemical sunscreen was bad although the science had not yet proven it. While talking with her I found out that she was saying that chemical sunscreens were potentially bad because they hurt coral reefs and not because they were bad for humans. I was amazed that somehow Dr. Ahmad was talking about the welfare of the environment while I was talking about the welfare of my child. I questioned her and said I'm not here to discuss the environment and that my question regarding chemical based sunscreen was to understand if it was potentially harmful for my child. I never did get an answer, but at least I do know chemical sunscreen may be bad for coral reefs.
