I’ve been seeing Dr. Haid since 2016. He has performed C4, C5, C6, and C7 fusion. He saved my life after on job injury. He is a incredible human being, and an outstanding doctor. I trust him with my eyes closed at any time.

Dr. Haid performed a 2 level disc replacement in my C5-C7. He is an excellent doctor and I am so thankful for him. He has completely turned my days of living in constant pain to me living my life out. I have to take Advil when I need it, but otherwise, it is tolerable without any medications. I was previously on all the medications. Gabapentin, Muscle relaxers, pain meds and more pain meds. I am a different person today. My 2 little children who are 7 and 9 now see their mom again and I am just so grateful Dr. Haid was who I chose to do my surgery. Did I mention I saw 5 neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons before I felt comfortable with Dr. Haid? Thank you so much. I will forever be recommending him.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Haid since 2014. I have had 3 procedures. Lumbar, back and neck. Dr. Haid has been a huge blessing. I had so much nerve pain I could barely walk without pain. Each surgery has given me so much success. I would highly recommend Dr. Haid. The man knows what he’s doing. His team is awesome and continues to care for me when I need them. Great care!!!

I have been Dr. Haid's patient for several years. He is an exceptionally talented surgeon whose character matches his talent. He is thorough in his evaluations, explanations and recommendations. He is a true partner in your health care and cares deeply about patient care. His nurse practitioner and nurse are also excellent, exhibiting similar listening and empathy skills, and the reception desk employees are consistently friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the back office support staff exhibits sub-par performance and in spite of their scripted voicemail messages indicating a willingness to serve you, be prepared to wait one to three weeks for a response to any message you leave, even if it is a task as simple as scheduling an appointment. Never expect anyone to actually answer their phone. Now that this practice is part of Piedmont, the best way to reach Dr. Haid or his NP/nurse is through My Chart. That will provide the necessary visibility and a record of your outreach.

Buyer beware! This practice has no regard for mistakes they make in patient records. Once they make them, they refuse to correct them! The 3rd leading cause of death in the United States is medical errors. Do you want to be a statistic?

I had a massive lumbar fusion - 4 level posterior with rods and screws and 3 level anterior with cages - 6 years ago. After a few months of recovery I returned to work full time as an anesthesiologist. I continue to have minimal pain and reasonable function. I treat patients with chronic pain, and it is extremely unusual for someone with this much surgery to resume normal activity. I continue to be eternally grateful to Dr. Haid and his team. He is kind, thoughtful, respectful, and gifted.

I cannot put into words, the respect and gratitude that I, and my family have for Dr. Haid and his staff. I had been in pain for so long that I thought it would be impossible ever feel good again. That all changed when I met Dr. Haid. He made me feel very comfortable with the decision to have surgery. He explained the procedure and what to expect after the surgery, Laura was always prompt to answer any questions that I had. For the first time in many years, I feel pain free.

My experience with Dr. Haid was the most positive one I have ever had with a physician no less a surgeon. I had such immediate confidence in him that I did not even go for a second opinion. I did do my due diligence and researched him (with the help of my brother who is also a surgeon) and the results....well I would describe it as other worldly. Simply put...he is simply the best! Oh...and the surgery...I am now pain free. Need I say more? His staff is also amazing.

I researched the top rated neurosurgeons in Atlanta, and then spoke to two other neurosurgeons before choosing Dr. Haid. There is a huge difference between the quality of care/service/staff between Dr. Haid and the other two.Ultimately, Dr. Haid's competency, willingness to actually listen and bias in favor of the least invasive means of addressing your issue makes him the top Neurosurgeon in my opinion. Never felt rushed and he's a great person as well as a great Dr.

My experience with Dr. Haid was nothing short of phenomenal. Dr. Haid took the time to thoroughly explain all my treatment options to me ranging from no treatment all the way through surgery. We ultimately chose surgery and I'm more than happy with our outcome! I was experiencing daily pain and discomfort before treatment and now I am back to my daily routines pain free!
