Dr. Renata Stankovic, MD

We are new in town and wanted an excellent primary care provider who would make careful decisions based on our input and medical needs. She wastes no time BUT that doesn't mean she is brusk. You defnietly talk to her and she listens. We feel lucky to have her care for our health.

She was brusque and rude. She criticized my cardiologist's prescriptions. She rushed. She didn't listen to me. After I left the examining room, she followed me to tell me that I needed o get a chest x-ray. She also argued with me about the need for me to get a covid test before surgery. What's up with that? I have NEVER met a physician who was as rude and unfeeling as Dr. Stankovic. Avoid her if you have any self respect.

Horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. Worst bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever seen. She is unprofessional and doesn’t listen to her patients. She asked me to hold her equipment for her to perform her exam. What a nightmare. I typically go to another doctor but was sick and needed to be seen. Never again.. do not see this doctor. Go to literally anyone else.

Very through and above all approachable which was refreshing, everybody was helpful which is a GREAT CHANGE from what i was used to for many years. Shes my doctor now

HORRIBLE DOCTOR WAS VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL-SENT ME FOR XRAYS WITH WRONG information -kept me in the room for over 2 hOURS-VERY WEIRD DOCTOR`IGNORANT-DID NOT EXAMINE COMES IN THE ROOM TALKS FOR 30 SECONDS THAN LEAVES ME IN THE ROOM WAITING FOR HER I HAD TO WALK TO THE NEAREST NURSE STATION AND BEG FOR HELP.FINALLY I TALKED TO THE OFFICE MANAGER . YES I WILL COMPLAIN HER TO THE TOP AND GET HER OUT DONT WANT MY INSURANCE TO PAY HER FOR MY VISIT . ABSOLUTELY A DISASTER !!!

I LOVE her. She is professional, listens to questions, responds succinctly and shows concern for your health. She is friendly, not rushed at all and I would recommend her without reservation to anyone seeking a veteran doctor. Andrea Kobliner, Northridge

Do not recommend this doctor. My appoitment was a blink. She spent about 3min max. with me.

Dr Stankovic was my Doctor while I was living down in Burbank a few years ago. She was both my wife and I’s GP. She was wonderful to both of us. She had an exceptional bedside manor and I felt she truly cared for both my Wife and I only the way a committed professional can do. She’s terrific and a credit to her profession.

Save yourself the time and look for another PMD. She will brush you off as being “young and healthy” and is always in a rush. Worst doc ever. I came from Kaiser and for two years, her staff kept having me sign a MR form to get my records, but never did! All I wanted to check if I was up to date on my vaccines. One time, came for an annual check and it was literally so quick. Her staff never notified me to fast before blood test, thus results came out all off. She also MADE me come back to do a pap after that annual check & when I did, her staff was confused saying it “might not be covered” bc I was not actually due for one (they still never got my medical records). After the debate, they proceeded and she mentioned the results of my blood test w/ 2 mins of quick talking. Slapped with a $400 bill for a lvl 4 visit (paps are covered) and I’ve never seen a dr bill just going over routine blood work results of abnormalities. I had to argue with insurance. UCLA was very unhelpful. Don’t go

PCP NIGHTMARE I’m healthy 41 yo female. I went to her for a routine check up visit, not thinking much about doing a research since I’m healthy just wanted to establish care and get refills. My visit was mediocre as she set mostly at the computer clicking away and was more concerned for CVS address than me. She didn’t even ask if I had my first mammogram, which is a basic screen! Very dismissive and not attentive. At that time I was “whatever” my needs were not great and I was not going to come back. Then the nightmare started. She she coded my visit as a (specialty) to charge my insurance more. However, my insurance doesn’t cover it so I’m left with hundreds of $ to pay. I am doctor as well and so is my husband. We see patients, we bill them. There was nothing “specialty” about it. I’ve sent 4 messages via my chart, no response. I called her office and was told managers will be informed within 48-72h, no response. I called billing and her office again. Silence.

Callous, invariable in a rush to leave, seems jaded and simply going through the motions, having lost the passion to care for the sick. I would not trust my health in the hands of this practitioner. She does not deserve the title "doctor."

I have had Dr. Stankovic as my Primary Care Doctor for over 6 years and I have always found her to be compassionate and caring. She actually spends time with me to discuss any needs I might have concerning my health and will give me her honest opinion. She and Lakeside, in general, are very thorough and the office staff always follows up with everything the next day. When it comes to referrals to a specialist, I have had them approved and scheduled within a couple of days maximum.

Writing a review for my elderly mother, can I leave negative stars? She is petty, non responsive and just not a very good Physician. My mom has a terminal illness that is manageable all Stankovic has to do is help manage her final years she is only interested in getting as much $$$ out of my mom as possible. Unnecessary treatments, treatment plan that is counter to my mom's wishes. Changing PCP and will be reporting her to the State of California. Honestly is not fit to practice medicine.

Absolutely awful. She can never remember who I am. When I come in for follow-up visits, she asks me why I'm there. She always seems VERY rushed, like she just wants you out of her office ASAP. I once asked her to take a look at something I feared was a growth inside my nose, and she refused, telling me to make an appointment for her to look at it when the cold I had was gone. She also put me on a drug that I discovered after a bad reaction can KILL ME when combined with another drug I am on.

Worst doctor every. DO NOT GO TO HER! She only thinks of billing you for all unnecessary tests and appointments. She won't even give you a refill unless you make another appointment with her so she can bill your insurance company!

I used to see another doctor at the same office and was given Dr. Stankovic when she left. I felt constantly rushed each time I was there for an annual check-up and never felt like I could ask her questions. I constantly had issues with her staff to fill prescriptions. Once I showed up and the dr. had called out sick so I couldn't go to my appt.
