Dr. Reve Shields, MD

Doctor Shields answered my questions thoroughly. She made me feel secure and lessened my fear about the dreaded 'C' word. Doctor Shields and her team were wonderful. They won't let you down.

Great doctor. Very responsive Explains difficult cancer diagnosis effectively I feel very comfortable with her I have all my family see her I love her and so do my children and parents who accompanied me at my visit which is always hard when you have a cancer diagnosis but she handled everyone's questions and answered them well Very smart!!! Bedside manner is top notch

Great doctor. I would have her see ANY of my family members at any time She took the time to explain to me my cancer diagnosis which is a scary time of my life. She called me again the next day to see if I have any more questions. She met my family and my children called her so many times and she took the time to call them back and answer all their questions and allay their fears. I love her and I wish all my doctors including my primary was like her She is loved and respected in the community!

Wonderful doctor. I myself am a nurse in Boston I can say that her bedside manner is remarkable. I work with her colleagues and by far she is the best that I have ever met. I recommended her to my friends and nurses in my hospital and about 3 of the other nurses where I work sees her as well. Anyone diagnosed with cancer should have her a their doctor, without a doubt. I definitely do not agree with other bad comments. I love her and so do my family. I would not go to any other oncologist.

We did not find her very caring. Quick. Limited follow up and absolutely nothing in terms of phone call or anything when my mom got really sick and went on hospice. The fit definitely was not right for my family. I would not recommend her.

Dr. Shields has great judgement and passion. She goes well above the norm in terms of providing options for her patients. She explains things clearly and at an absorbable pace. She is now caring for a family member and I feel he is in extremely competent hands.

Dr Shields has been my doctor for five years. She saved my life and never gave up on me. I was depressed when diagnosed with cancer and she never gave up on me. She made sure that I followed up with her and called me when I could not get out of bed. She empowered my young daughter and called her most of the week to make sure that she was ok. I don't think any doctor will do that. I consider her an excellent doctor and will go to her over and over again. I don't know how anyone cannot like her

Dr shields is remarkable. Excellent with excellent bedside manner. I do not think the other comments are right. I travel from a different just to see her. She is my oncologist and so is the oncologist for my parents. She goes out of her way to call me with any results and explains things in layman's terms. I will go to her again and again. I have met many doctors in my life and there is no one like her.

Dr. Shields is extremely insensitive and rude. During my visit with her, she was discussing chemo and also Tamoxifen and should I have to have either treatment after my surgery, I would be unable to have children. I hadn't even thought of this subject as I was still digesting the Cancer. She giggled the entire time and she also told me in a brag that she was pregnant. She even told me she had a younger patient that wanted to harvest her eggs to which she laughed and said good luck. Horrible.
