He saved my life.
Nothing bad to say. Ever. Saved my life 15 years ago by discovering polyps no one else cared to look for. Sent me to Dr. Zwan at Baylor Medical Center and I have been good ever since. Appreciate it sir.

Uribilogen measures liver function. Mine has been high on my last 2 UA's. I also have had tea colored urine, nausea / vomiting, undiagnosed upper abdominal pain, extreme itching at times (especially when laying in bed at night) As well as a history of unexplained cholecystitis which led to an emergency cholecystectomy in March of 2019 with little relief of causative symptoms after. I'll add here, at that time all my labs looked 'great' too (per all docs) and I was almost sent home with 'food poisoning' instead of admitted through SW ER the night I went in for it. Imaging has shown dialated bile ducts since before my cholecystectomy but never investigated further. When I brought my symptoms, latest test results and history to Dr. Fawaz on Wednesday, he told me this is not a GI or liver issue. I most likely have IBS if anything. He said to see a blood specialost. To my persistent dark urine, he replied, I don't analyze urine. Not sure if he's dumb or arrogant. Be careful.

Spoke over me the entire time. Would ask a question and then not let me answer. Unfortunately I’ve seen many many doctors and some are good, some are bad. He was by far the WORST I’ve ever seen. Didn’t leave with anything useful. Total waste of time, he is garbage, disrespectful, completely rude.

Excellent bedside manner! He has gone above & beyond for me since I first began going to him. I remained undiagnosed for over 10 years with this painful and dehibilitating condition. As soon as I turned 18, I went to see an adult gastroenterologist and that would be Dr. Fawaz. He has worked with me many times, making sure I'm taking the right medicine to help me feel somewhat better, sending me for appropriate tests, & has been there to just listen. I could go on & on. I HIGHLY recommend him.
