Dr. Rhonda Peterson, MD

I visited Dr. Peterson to establish regular pap smears and obtain an IUD. All initial procedures went well. After about 6 months or so, I was having significant side effects (extreme cramping, excessive bleeding). When going back to Dr. Peterson to have the IUD removed, she was unable to locate the strings of the IUD and proceeded by sending me to get an X-ray of my abdomen. After review, Dr. Peterson concluded that there was a uterine perforation and recommended that I see a gynecologist soon. As I was leaving for vacation that weekend, I pressed Dr. Peterson to express the severity of the situation and whether or not I should seek emergency care. She expressed that I should be okay over the weekend, but I should see someone and make note of where the local hospitals were. Once I saw a gynecologist, she explained that an ultrasound should have been done, and everything was fine. She removed the IUD without a problem—all the anxiety of possibly bleeding out over vacation for nothing.

I have gone to Dr Peterson for many years now as did my husband. She has always been caring, helpful and knowledgable. I am hoping she will not retire until I am gone. She was wonderful when my husband was dying

Dr Peterson and sharon are absolutely amazing. My whole family goes to them. I would never go to anyone else.

Very uncaring doctor and physician's assistant. They don't care about their patients and are not helpful at all. They bill insurance for services not performed. They write extremely unprofessional notes in patient files. They are now operating at such a frantic pace since URMC took over their office reminds me of a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off. They let go local employees when URMC came in and now employees of URMC come in from Rochester and surrounding areas.

Dr. Peterson is wonderful her staff is wonderful. Always there when you need them always there to answer any questions. Wonderful with kids. My family loves her and her staff.
