Dr. Ricardo Navarro, DO

Very unprofessional; poor listener; kept interrupting my concerns about a drug I was on. Wouldn't let me complete my explanation. Ended up leaving.

We have been with Dr. Navarro for some years now. He has always provided good care. He is professional as is his staff. We are very grateful to have a good doctor where we do not have to travel too far. Thank you for the years of caring service you have provided.

Dr Navarro is great along with his staff. They have created a friendly atmosphere in the office and all go out of their way to help you. Dr Navarro takes his time with you and gets to know the patient in a way that is more than just what the lab reports say. Our Lake Wales family all go to him.

Very strange. My DO is retiring and I was looking for a family doctor. Julie took my history in a few minutes and was very pleasant. Dr. Navarro came in and we chatted for perhaps ten minutes. Every time I began to tell him about my overall health, he would interrupt me and ask, 'How can I help you today?' I'd explain that I was looking for a new doctor. When I began to tell him about my diabetes he interrupted me again and said, 'I don't think that we'd be a good fit.' As stated by other reviewers he seemed uncaring and was totally uninterested in anything that I had to say.

smug attitude and not a good communicator, treated me like i was a ignorant person gave me a prescription with no explanation of what it was for than walked out of the room not a good bedside manner at all. needs to find a new store to buy his socks, would not recommend to anyone

Rushed the appointment, uncaring. Terrible bedside manner.

He is compassionate and caring, spends time with you. His staff is excellent too.

Dr. Navarro is very friendly and understanding. Knows people want good care with minimal appointments.

This doctor did not have a good bed side manner as he was very curt and dismissive with me. He only spent 5 minutes with me and I will never go back.

Hubby & I are soooo happy we changed to Dr. Navarro. We feel so comfortable with him & all his office. So Caring and kind. Easy to talk too. On top with our care. Just can’t say enough. Appreciate them so very much!

Him and his MA worked together to push his agenda on me, lied to have me take what they both said was an “ADHD” screening all to tell me it was actually a Bipolar questionnaire… What was the reason? Also in a nasty and arrogant tone told me how my mental state is why I’m overweight. Being overweight is psychological and all in someone’s head. If they didn’t want to be overweight they wouldn’t be. Said people think they have to eat but they don’t need to eat!

De. Navarro is an awesome doctor he is all about patient care. I could not ask for a better doctor. His staff is great

Dr. Navarro took the time to listen to my needs and showed true concern for them. Office staff very friendly. Did not feel rushed through their office. Highly recommend this dr.

The office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Navarro listens and takes his time with you. He is very knowledgeable and one of the best doctors I have been to in this area.

Zero or minus would be a better score. In my 72 years have never experienced such a pompous, uncaring person with a complete lack of respect or basic listening skills. Please don't go to this man.

My wife was told not to return he did not want her as a patient anymore. He then proceeded to tell me he no longer wanted me as a patient either and needed to find another Dr.

My first visit with Dr. Navarro was 4 months ago.I was so impressed , with staff and him.I remember his father which took care of my mother many many years ago.which she loved him dearly.So you know a apple doesn't fall far from the tree.When I visit in January my diabetes was out of control.He gave me some good advice and put me on medication.my A 1 C being 11.9 to 6.6 that amazing.So I am grateful to have a doctor who is knowledgeable,patience and understanding.you can't go wrong.

Dr. Navarro and his office staff were all very professional, knowledgeable, down to earth, caring, compassionate and stay on top of things, making sure things are done right and in a timely manner. I took my husband to him today. We were looking for a local Dr. I was so impressed with his personality and his patience listening to us. He spent a lot of time with us. He was with us well over an hour. He spoke to us about my husbands health issues and he told us some of the exact same things our former specialists had told us. He is young and up to date on the most modern technology. We are very pleased and we would HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for a Dr. He is going to be a real asset to the Lake Wales medical field and a real asset to the hospital as they convert to Advent. I am very excited for the changes to come at the hospital as they bring in new staff. It’s going to be a win win for all. Welcome back to Lake Wales as he was raised here.
