Dr. Anderson is a wonderful psychiatrist. We (our entire family) saw him for more than 20 years. However, he disappeared before Covid due to his own health issues. The remaining doctors, therapists, counselors, at St. Charles Psychiatric Associates are not worth your time. Very disappointed in "Ivy". She is the counselor we were assigned after Dr. Anderson disappeared before Covid. Every time you talk to her, she doesn't remember you, or anything about you and you spend the entire time getting her up to speed. Every time she asks, do you work? and where is that? etc.

I have been seeing Dr. Anderson for 12 years. He has been sensitive to the ups and downs that life brings. He finds positive to discuss even when I am not in a very positive mindset. Health problems brought on depression and anxiety. Dr. Anderson does not simply push pills. He does prescribe medication and when it’s not working he listens so he can make appropriate changes. Someone mentioned that he missed appointments but remember he is human and has health concerns just like anyone else.

Worst possible experience in trying to find a mental health care provider. The office staff was rude and completely unhelpful. The office is also completely uncapable of updating their status of taking new patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Anderson for 5 years. I was a bit timid at first, being a new patient to a psychiatrist. Fortunately, Dr. Anderson was very easy to open up to; he cares so much about his patients, he listens well, I never feel he judges me. I do not feel he rushes his time with his patients, he tries to understand everything you say because he wants to offer the best treatment for you; which does result in a longer wait time, but it is because he cares so much about every patient!
