Your trust is our top concern.

We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Please do not take every negative review as the “truth”. Dr. Bacharach is an excellent psychiatrist. Dr. Bacharach is not cold and heartless as one reviewer said. After you have talked to him after a couple of appointments you will see that he is kind and caring. Dr. B listens to everything you have to say, answers questions and asks quite a few. He is interested in what you have to say. Being a psychiatrist he experiences many medical emergencies from his patients. I can attest to this personally. When my spouse died he saw me almost immediately knowing and caring that I would need some medical help. Medical emergencies explain the sometimes/often long wait times. If he was cold and heartless he would not make the extra time for those he knows need immediate help. The negative reviews here make me wonder if someone just did not find the right fit for THEM. Finding the right psychiatrist is not always easy. He is definitely the right one for me.

Speaking The Truth – Apr 20, 2021

Kudos to Dr.Bacharach. He seems to go above and beyond in his efforts to make drug manufacturers extremely profitable. It may create a small discomfort for patients, but you just need to stop and ask yourself , what is a doctor really here for. Keep focused , stay diligent, and one day you will have your just desserts ( chocolate pie ) I hope.

Wait time is horrendous & office staff proceedures are terrible. average wait time is 45min- 1hour. office staff only accept phone calls on a limited basis, they don't take phone calls between 12-2pm. Dr. Bacharach doesn't provide electronic prescription refills; you have to pick up a paper prescription at the office.Bacharach will not take Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance beginning in June.

While Dr, Bacharach is a very good psychiatrist, his practice management leaves a lot to be desired. From your first appointment, you will be pleased with Dr. Bacharach's personal interaction as a doctor, but that is the only positive experience you will have. Waiting times for scheduled appointments commonly exceed 45 to 60 minutes no matter what time of day your appointment is scheduled. Dr. Bacharach only issues a paper prescription and he does not call them in or use electronic delivery.

We go to him only because he's the only psychiatrist in our area who accepts our insurance. Expect 1-1 1/2 hour waiting times. Booking your 3 month follow-up will take 4+ months because he doesn't have anything open on his calendar. Passive-aggressive personality. He's OK if he likes you and you are a laid back type of individual. Otherwise, he has trouble remaining professionally detached. Competent as to professional knowledge but I think his personality sometimes gets in the way.

We like his direct and truthful conversation. He is an expert on adolescent psychiatric disorders. My only complaint is that you have to wait TOO long. However, if you call the staff 1/2 hour before your appointment, they'll tell you how late he is running.

HORRIFIC! Stay away from this doctor. Very cold and heartless. Waste of your time. Extremely arrogant, unethical. Very sickening and sad that he is allowed to even practice. He will does not follow through when changing medications or adding new medications. Makes you wonder how many people have been harmed by his poor quality of practice.

Passive-aggressive and generally dismissive of patient complaints, a nightmare to interact with, rude, and exuding an aura of distrust. Casually and repeatedly insulted me throughout the course of our professional relationship. Insisted that I say on medications that caused severe adverse effects. Very hard to get a hold of and constantly late to appointments. Wasted years of my time and an indeterminable amount of money. Would not recommend to anyone. Wouldn't trust him with my child.
