High recommended for your little ones!
Dr. Cabrera helped my baby daughter with a rash. He was very thorough, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring. His bedside manner is excellent, and he went above and beyond by following up on her condition. I would highly recommend Dr. Cabrera and entrust him with your little ones.

Rude and Dismissive
I can attest to the other poor review! I took my daughter in to see Richard and he was totally dismissive and refused to run testing on my daughter. I definitely researched a lot before taking her in to rule out things and ensure it was a medical emergency. He said, with attitude “I’m free to see another pediatrician”, but unfortunately my PCP was away. I insisted he run a test after he refused multiple times becuase he didn’t “deem medically necessary”. He said he was not a shotgun doctor and not how he practices. He was not reassuring by any means and tries to make you feel stupid. I’m sorry sir, but just because you have a couple letters after your name - you should not treat people like they’re inferior to you. Surprise surprise… our PCP got back to us and based on what we shared (exactly what we shared with him), she was extreme concerned and is squeezing us in as soon as possible to run testing on her.

THE ABSOLUTE WORSE
We’ve had to bring in our 1 year old daughter to see Dr. Cabrera twice now due to her PCP being out and both times he has been incredibly rude, dismissive and unprofessional. My daughter does extremely well at dr visits and with the nurses, but both times Dr. Cabrera enters the room she becomes hysterical. Dr. Cabrera has EXTREMELY POOR bedside manner, looks incredibly uncomfortable and uncertain about what he is doing. This second time we came in because our daughter and another child came back from a river camping trip with fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. The other child is in the ER currently due to dehydration and they are trying to get a stool sample as that is the only way to test for bacteria. We have TWO stool samples and Dr. Cabrera is refusing to test as “he is not a doctor that just checks a box” and explicitly told my husband we need to wait for our daughter to get to that same point for him to deem it necessary. Now we’re headed to urgent care where they WILL test her.
