Terrible experience-Extremely IMPATIENT
Waited 2 weeks for appointment for major molar extraction. Arrived and waited half hour. Upon being put in chair I expressed my anxiety w extractions ( had a nasty one years ago), I was given lidocaine, was told he could do extraction, bone graft and implant all in same visit- however, when I had questions and expressed anxiety, he was short, extremely rude, and impatient. Left me in the chair over half an hour more, came back And said “NO, we are NOT doing the bone graft annd implant- only the extraction”. I felt rushed, he Ignored my anxiety. Made me feel foolish- absolutely zero bedside manner. With all of this and his mood after 1.5hours, I decided to leave. Asked perhaps if I could have time to think about it perhaps postpone (due to his angry demeanor) he informed me “No, you’re NOT coming back here” “We’re booked for months” “Bill her for a consultation”I’m still amazed at this horrible experience. I will Not Return.-RUN. No one deserves to be treated like this.

My implant failed. Dr. Deasy incorrectly inserted the wrong post size or drilled the hole too big. I’m not exactly sure because no one admits mistakes. This resulted in an extra round of antibiotics and undergoing a difficult procedure to clean out the infected area. He corrected the mistake without charge. The implant eventually worked but it took 18 months total and included my getting a second opinion. Mistakes do happen, however the entire experience was very difficult. The office wait time was often over 60 minutes. Which is a long time to wait when having stressful procedures. Minimum wait time was 30 minutes even for early AM appointments. The post surgical instructions were limited to a brief handout. And they added a surcharge for credit card payments. So beware, at a minimum, be ready to wait a while to be seen, ask lots of questions to clarify post-op instructions , and be prepared to pay a surcharge if you need to use a credit card.

Dr. Deasy was excellent. I was nervous about having dental implant surgery, but Dr. Deasy put my mind at ease. He was incredibly professional and the procedure was brief and completely painless. He has earned a well-deserved level of confidence, and I would recommend him to anyone who requires oral surgery. A+

I has two teeth exposed, wisdom teeth removal, and one baby tooth pulled. It was a quite a lot, but Dr. Deasy made the process easy. The surgery went quick and well. I am currently recovering with much swelling, but the process of the surgery went very well.

I had a tooth extracted by Dr. Deasy. It was a good experience, something i was not expecting to say about getting a tooth pulled. Dr. Deasy explained the procedure clearly & carefully and the result was a painless, trauma free procedure with a quick, painless recovery. His staff was outstanding and the entire experience was positive. I would not hesitate to recommend him & his staff to anyone looking for an impressively competent and thoughtful doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Deasy by Meetinghouse Dental, a top practice in Pennsylvania, so I suspected he was good. My experience was even better. A root canal had gone bad; Dr. Deasy removed the infected root after taking off the crown and placing the dental implants. Incredibly, the entire procedure was entirely painless! He is incredibly professional and competent, yet also personable. Absolutely top notch.

I am writing this review today and I just had 4 wisdom teeth removed by dr deasy this morning. I am very squeamish and was nervous about this as I have never had an fillings or mouth work done. I am 25 and have put off getting my teeth out for years. Dr deasy and his assistant were kind and reassuring. They talked me though each step and could not have made the process any smoother. I am now in no pain and have not taken anything other than ibuprofen. I would recommend this dr to any one.

Only to someone requiring a procedure that involves ZERO pain. Dr. Deasy is only concerned with getting you out of the chair FAST and does not adequately ensure the patient’s numbness during the procedure. He got annoyed with my adult son and then years later, with my stepfather, both of whom needed urgent services. They expressed they were suffering incredible pain, but he continued working, unfazed, telling them basically to “suck it up”. Inhumane.. And, years later, son’s implant failed! ????

I was very fearful to get my wisdom teeth out- it was my first surgery. Dr. Deasy took the time to answer my questions and explain the entire procedure to me, which made me feel relieved going into the surgery. He knew what he was doing and I had zero complications after the surgery. I was back to swimming at the shore only a few days later. I 100% recommend Dr. Deasy!

Took my 15 year old daughter to Dr. Deasy to have her 4 wisdom teeth extracted. He was patient and kind when speaking to her. He answered all her questions and placed both her and I at ease. My daughter said he was just as gentle and kind when placing the IV for sedation, which she was most nervous about. After the surgery she never complained of pain. She refused her pain medication all together. Best yet she was back swimming with her swim team in 3 days. Thanks Dr. Deasy!
