Dr. Debenhnke is the Best General Practitioner!
I am 68 years old and have been seeing Dr. Debehnke for over ten years and he is the best GP that I have ever had. He has always listened to my symptoms and was genuinely concerned in addressing all my issues. Also, Dr. Debehnke has always provided me with a menu of alternatives to address my ailments and provides solid medical reasoning behind each of the solutions he is proposing- along with the Pro & Con's of each option. He has a very caring approach and allows me to ask all the questions that I have. I never feel rushed in my office visits with him. My only regret is that I did not find Dr. Debehnke sooner. He is the best and I highly recommend him! Nelson Barre

Dr DeBehnke saw my elderly mom recently for a new patient physical exam as she just moved to Austin. I’m a nurse and attended the appointment with her. He did not do any type of exam! He did not touch my mom! No stethoscope no exam! He didn’t listen to her heart or lungs or examine her at all!! This is not a physical exam!! He stated he ran out out of time after taking the time to talk on and on regarding things that could have been answered much more concise. The time he took was his time, not time that we were able to interject asking questions! As an older physician I’m appalled that he thought this was good medical care and a physical! I feel responsible for my mom’s care and this visit was appalling!

Dr. Debehnke was very friendly and took his time with me for my annual physical. He listened to all my concerns and discussed my entire medical history with me. I never felt at any point that he was rushing or in a hurry to see another patient (I had a late afternoon appointment). I probably was in the exam room for a total of about an hour with him.
