Very warm and understanding

Dr. Fuhler is thorough and spent a great deal of time on my first appointment asking a lot of questions and explaining the treatment program.

Dr. Fuhler does not do proper/thorough assessments when testing for adult ADHD, so don't expect to get a diagnosis here if you don't have "classic" symptoms. First, the good things: the staff was very friendly, and I was able to get an appointment quickly. But that's where the positives end. I was given a single variation of the TOVA test (it's almost like a 70s video game), which Dr. Fuhler seemed to use as the primary diagnostic method (the manufacturer explicitly advises against this). He did not interview me or ask about my symptoms, but he did tell me that I didn't have ADHD because I did "well" on the test. Unconvinced and little angry, I went to a different doctor for a second opinion, and after a thorough interview I was diagnosed almost immediately. Nobody I know who's seen Dr. Fuhler has had a good experience with him. I'd recommend avoiding him unless you have a VERY textbook case of ADHD.

I find Dr. Fuhler is extremely demeaning. He makes you feel stupid and has made me feel so uncomfortable. I think he is a terrible doctor and he should start treating his patients with more respect. I dread going in for an appointment.

Doctor Fuhler not only listens but genuinely cares. He will work with you until a solution is in place. He is the absolute BEST!

I believe Dr. Fuhler has been treating people with ADHD long enough to be able to spot someone who has it from a mile away. He is very aware of how our minds work, even when we don't. Gentle, but to the point, he steers us with direct questions and establishes appropriate & acceptable guidelines. He is one of the few doctors I completely trust to do what every he can to help me get a handle of our "race car brains with bicycle breaks". Staff is good, but dr. simply has significant issues w/ his perceived knowledge of ADHD...Definitely does NOT LISTEN to his patients. Unwilling to consider truth outside of his world. Found him to be invalidating & arrogant towards his patients, & yet he brags a 97% success rate. How would he know if he doesn't listen? When told that med was causing anxiety, he said, "it can't cause that". On the med sheet, the 1st thing listed as side efx was ANXIETY! occurred again w 2 symptom! NOT RECOMMEND
