Good doctor, miserable billing experience.
Doctor Greenberg himself was just fine, but his office erroneously billed my insurance for a surgical procedure for a regular office visit, and his office and Einstein's billing department (who were shockingly rude and combative) have done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation despite contacts by both myself and my insurance company. As a result, I was sent a much larger bill by Einstein than what should have been a $30 co-pay, and eventually was sent to a collection agency after my insurance company instructed me in no uncertain terms NOT to pay the bill while it was under appeals. And Einstein did this with full knowledge that it was under review! Now I have that on my credit history. Hooray.Anyway, I've never in my life had a worse experience dealing with the business side of a practice than I have here. I hope to never deal with them again.

i had a very difficult recovery from surgery and suffer from anxiety/depression (PTSD) my mother died 2 1/2 years ago from the same condition. he either didn't understand or didn't care about the effect this had on my emotional state. his lack of compassion stunned me. my last words in the hospital with him were him saying to me "you need to quit bothering me, why don't you just go home". he then turned and said "you're discharged right now, pack your things and leave the hospital"

Dr. Greenberg has been my surgeon for the past 14 years. Because of his skills as a surgeon I have been cancer free for 14 years. I consider him one of the top surgeons in his field. He has always been willing to listen and address any concerns I may have.

After running an hour late for our appointment (with no apology!), Richard Greenberg was condescending, argumentative and had absolutely no desire to LISTEN - or allow me to explain and show him my symptoms. He fails to respect gender rights. After his office assured me he would not be using a nurse practitioner, he had a woman following him around whom he failed to identify, and argued when I requested privacy given that the exam required my clothes off. A terrible doctor with zero compassion.

I found Dr. Greenberg to be very knowledgeable. He was very friendly and comfortable to talk with. He made an unpleasant situation tolerable. I have already recommended Dr. Greenberg and I've not even had my procedure yet. I have complete trust in him.
