Cure for insomnia
Dr. Greer solved my lifelong sleep disorder. I was 67 when I came under his care. Through a skillful combination of meds, Dr. Greer got me on a regimen that gives me restorative sleep every night. It was a miracle! He is a hero in my opinion—willing to look outside of the box to help the patient. He was just sorry that I suffered severe sleep deprivation for over 50 years after seeing so many other doctors. I am now 72 and still doing well. Dr. Greer is a very nice person and I enjoyed our conversations. He was always open to my comments and feedback and gave me freedom to experiment with dosages to find out what was effective for me. Dr. Greer is very caring and knowledgeable!

Disrespectful and Unprofessional
Richard Greer seems to have no care for his patients, it’s really in and out doesn’t seem to listen and was over eager to prescribe me medication and send me on way.

I was a mess and he really cared and listened
I was a mess when I 1st saw Dr Greer. I have been failed by so many Doctors who think that you can treat everyone the same. Everyone is different and there problems need to be treated specifically for them. I'm so tired of the rules and pressure that is put on psychiatrist and pain management Doctors. How do they set a medication limit on Doctors and expect them to be able to treat there patients? We suffer for it. Dr Greer cares more about the patient then limits. He is a great Doctor and he saved my life.

I was a patient of Dr. Greer’s for many years. He has also treated my parents as they were in their golden years. I always trusted his opinion and had complete faith with the continued care of them. He is an excellent psychiatrist who is exceptional with knowing the correct medication to prescribe. I have moved out of state and have not found a comparable psychiatrist to Dr. Greer. I will be relocating back to the Daytona Beach area just to be seen by Dr. Greer. He is truly the best!

Our child was hospitalized for suicidal thoughts and he was on duty. He placed her in social isolation the entire time because he said she shouldn't have had to return so soon after her last hospitalization. On this particular occasion it was the first time she had told us, her parents, that she was feeling suicidal. She should have been being praised for that, not punished. Most children at HBS are there because they are sick and not there due to behavior problems or poor parenting.

Causes addiction and cannot even spot it. Distributes high doses of amphetamines to patients with high blood pressure and cardiac risk factors. Closest thing to a pill mill around.

Dr. Greer has been careful to listen to us as parents and explain what he plans. He also explains the benefits and risks of medication. We couldn't ask for more in a psychiatrist for our children.
