The expected cost of a hernia sergery was only half (!!!) of what the total was. You cannot get the full price of your surgery without going through the actual surgery, and once you do, you will get sticker shock from the difference between what the front office guesstimated, and what the total actually is. That difference could break you financially.

I had to wait for months after I first contacted Dr Harding because of a major health issue related to my significant other.. he had systemic strep which attacked his prosthetic hip which had to be taken out once a month across four months from Nov 2023 to May 2024. He had his final revision surgery May 12. I I finally get into his office I am diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism. He said, “ you need blood work and a UA. When the results come back from the blood lab we will call to schedule a surgical appointment.” I got the results back and called to see if Dr Harding had received them. I left a message 3-4 times to get no response. Not once not a return message NOTHING. This condition puts extra calcium into your which can cause clogged arteries which can lead to stroke or a heart attack. I don’t believe that Dr Harding would knowingly do this. Thus putting the blame on his office staff. Somebody dropped the ball.

Dr Harding and his staff are engaged, responsive and understanding. Surgery was a success and it is all because Dr Harding's steady hands. We appreciate his talent and knowledge.

The first visit was very good, Dr Harding and his staff took time to do an ultrasound and explain his findings. After I chose surgery Dr Harding visited me and other patients before he went home and first thing the next morning. I would reccomend his skill and caring disposition to anyone seeking a good surgeon.

My initial consultation was great, and I felt comfortable with Dr. Harding. However, once I went in for the procedure, I was told numerous times that I could send in what I paid to insurance. The doctor told me his office would process through insurance. his medical assistant never called me back, billing never happened with my insurance and finally after 7 months I was sent the documents needed for me to file the claim through my insurance. after its approved now the doctor saying its wrong sending me a new claim with even higher numbers. The communication is Terrible. Biling has been awful. I should have had this claim processed and covered back before 2023 ended! Now I am still trying to resolve this with insurance and the doctor. In addition to being billed for every follow up visit and my procedure didn't even do anything.

I’ve been an RN for over 45 years and am particular about my doctors. I would recommend Dr. Harding. He explains things well, did a beautiful incision and everything went exactly as he said it would. He has a friendly bedside manner and great surgical skills. This particular surgery is totally dependent upon the skill of the surgeon. So you want a Doctor who does this a lot and does it well.

Dr Harding reviewed a scan on my thyroid with me, examined my thyroid and clearly explained why a small nodule did not require treatment at this time with recommended follow up.

Dr Harding is awesome. After 6 months with the runaround at Mayo Clinic, Dr Harding saw me on a Monday and I had surgery on Thursday. I'm overweight and he coached me on the type of foods that can assist my condition post surgery, which has been very helpful. A no-nonsense, get right to the facts doctor. I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Dr. Harding by another physician who spoke highly of him. I had a positive experience with the office staff and MA. Dr. Harding, however treated me in a way that dehumanized and humiliated me. He told me that my test results were inconclusive because I am overweight, but then sarcastically asked me where I go to seek out greasy foods and shamed me. He made a snarky comment about the fact that I should be working out every day. I was shocked by the way he spoke to me with word vomit. He went on to talk about the obesity rates in Mississippi! He proceeded to quiz me on my educational background. He abruptly left the room and told me he would be back, he needed to check my insurance. He never came back, I was never spoke to about a procedure. A nurse came in the room and handed me a folder and telling me I have surgery next week. This was the first I had heard of it after all that time with him. Find another doctor, this one's egotistical and uncompassionate.

My first words leaving his office: “that man will NEVER be my physician!” First, he was an hour late to my 9am appointment. Second, he was completely disorganized and had not reviewed my medical records prior to meeting with me even though he had them two weeks prior to the appointment. Third, without knowing anything about me or my medical history, he tried to sell me on a radio frequency ablation — which, is not covered by insurance AND after having been treated by another surgeon and having a hemithyroidectomy, it was determined I was not even a suitable candidate for an RFA because my toxic nodules were wrapped around my voice nerve and growing into my chest. Lastly, although his front desk staff was friendly, his office was filthy and unkempt. In summary, if you need para/thyroid surgery and are looking for a highly-skilled, knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough surgeon, see Dr. Mira Milas at Banner. You won’t be disappointed like you’d be with Dr. Harding.

I was absolutely miserable with gall bladder issues when I saw Dr Harding. After my surgery, I have my life back! No complications. Awesome results! And his office staff were amazing.
