Dr. Richard Hayek, MD

My mother had left and right hip replacement surgeries with this doctor. They went amazingly. It's been about 2 years since the surgeries, and she walks more than I can remember. She goes on daily walks, to the store, etc. She speeds faster than me, and I am only 30! After the first left side surgery, we were so impressed we tried to push for a quick right side surgery even during COVID! Before the surgeries, she was unable to separate her feet when standing more than about 1.5ft apart. She was in great pain. Walking up stairs was a major issue, and she often needed support especially if the first step was higher than normal. She used her arms to help pull up along railings. Don't waste your time in pain. You will be in good hands.

Dr. Hayek is wonderful. He repaired my tendons in my ankle and I couldn't be happier.

Dr. Hayek's staff is friendly and efficient. When they know x rays are needed that's where you go first and they tell you what room you are in right after, so there is no going back and forth room to room. Dr. Hayek was very informative as to why I needed surgery, but also never pushed me into it, offering me choices. He explained the procedure from beginning to end, talked about physical therapy and answered all my questions. Surgery went well and I just had my 3 month all clear visit. Thank you Dr. Hayek for doing what you do. You are 1 of the best. 100% recommendation. He also did my daughter's ankle surgery that was a big success also.

I had a complete tear of the ligament in my thumb and luckily was able to see Dr. Hayek without an appointment the day I was hurt. He was thorough in explaining my options and was clear in his recommendation. I had surgery 3 days later and now 1 day less than 6 weeks after, I am almost fully recovered. I am much stronger and more flexible than I expected it to be so soon. Dr. Hayek had a great bedside manor, which was nice to set me at ease before my surgery and he was clearly a great surgeon as my healing has been so much quicker than I anticipated. DON'T get hurt, but if you do, you won't find anyone better to help you. Thank you Dr. Hayek and your team!

Dr. Hayek was recommended to us through insurance for knee surgery. The knee surgery itself was relatively successful, but there were issues all along. Office staff here is consistently rude and we were overcharged and reccomended unnecessary services. Billing claims drs will never discuss charges, treatments were pre-approved by insurance but we received astronomical bills afterwards.

Dr. Hayek my orthopedic surgeon has replaced my right hip. It was a very smooth operation. The operation was a total success with minimal pain. I’m walking without any help such as a cane I’m still dancing at the age of 84. Dr. Hayek has also replaced both knees & my left hip through the years with know problems And removed an extra bone from each heel. He is the best.

Dr. Hayek rebuilt both of my Hips over a 2 year period. I am a 69 year old Male and i could not be happier, Dr. Hayek is very professional and comes highly recommended from my family Doctor and myself. Believe me your not going to find a better when it comes to Hip surgery.

Dr. Hayek did a total hip replacement (front) on me in January, 2021. The first day at the hospital I was walking with a walker. When I was sent home, I no longer needed the walker. I did the therapy and was back to swimming in two weeks. In February 2022, my wife and I went to the Galapagos and Macho Picchu. We did a lot of walking and hiking for 12 days straight. My hip never felt better!

Dr Hayek was a very nice and thoughtful doctor. He explained everything about my knee condition and what he recommended to be done. I would tell all my friends to go see him for their ortho issues..

Dr. Hayek replaced my knee, and two years later, my hip. He has always been compassionate in his discussion and treatment of my pain issues. I just finished hiking all 5 National Parks in Utah this summer; last summer I could barely climb my house stairs! I feel blessed to have been the recipient of Dr. Hayek’s care and am very grateful for the improvement in my quality of life.

I had 2 procedures performed by Dr Hayek....a completely torn ankle ligament repair and release of a frozen shoulder unresponsive to any other treatment. Both issues are completely resolved. Dr Hayek is not only a very skilled, professional surgeon but a very kind and compassionate one as well. He is very concerned that your pain is relieved. I would recommend him hands down for any orthopedic needs.

I broke my ankle Christmas Eve 2020 in two places and had a dislocation. After a visit to the emergency room, I was sent to Dr Hayek's office. He quickly assessed me, told me everything that I will have to go through to heal and scheduled me for surgery. The day of surgery at Resurrection Hospital was scary for me, but the staff, and Dr Hayek put me at ease buy letting me know everything that was happening, the screws and plate that were needed to put my ankle back together and expectations of recovery. The surgery went great and I felt very happy to be on the mend. I was amazingly on my feet with a boot on and slowly beginning walking by mid-February and walking by March 1, 2021, and going to physical therapy. Presently I have no pain and my ankle has healed quickly. Dr Hayek did an amazing job with my surgery, and I am grateful to have met him.

Dr Hayek is a great orthopedic surgeon my wife has ra and is a specialist with people with this condition he performed knee surgery and was caring attentive and made wife feel at ease.
