Dr. Richard Helman Jr, MD

Dr. Helman was my 1st & only gynecologist for the past 20 years. He diagnosed my Endometriosis & PCOS, in which he continues to deliver expert medical care. He realistically yet compassionately advised, guided & provided amazing medical care as I struggled with infertility. He provided wonderful medical care throughout my pregnancies, successfully delivering my sons via c-sections in 2012 & 2014. Dr. Helman's doctor/patient rapport & relationship he established with me is impeccable. Annual appts & additional appts are always from a medical, therapeutic & holistic approach. He always checks in on me as a person not just a patient: my children, marriage, career, emotional/mental well-being plus the medical reasons for my appt. After my late husband passed, Dr. Helman, as always, went above & beyond his doctoral, contractual job duties & requirements as my gynecologist. He's my FAVORITE doctor & has been told, he's not allowed to retire until I no longer need him as my doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Helman's for over 10 years and he explains my health with me and takes his time and answers any questions that I have. He is very honest and trustworthy. He is a great doctor. I told him that I didn't know what I would do when he retired and he told me that his father worked until he was in his 70's and he will too. He said he isn't going to retire for a very long time. I told him that I was happy to hear that; because he was a great doctor.

Dr. Helman delivered both of my children and he and his staff made both pregnancies and deliveries wonderful experiences. I trusted their expertise and obvious dedication to their patients and always felt free to ask questions. They do not rush you out the door - very thorough and take concerns seriously. I recommend his practice to everyone.
