Dr. Richard Honigman, MD

I have very serious concerns that Dr. Honigman does not prioritize the interests of his pediatric patients. I selected Dr. Honigman's practice for my two daughters over a decade ago because of his association with a female pediatrician (Dr. Lauren Brunn) who connected very strongly with me and my daughters. My daughters had previously been patients of Dr. Brunn at her prior practice in Glen Cove. We followed her to Dr. Honigman's practice. At the beginning of the pandemic, Dr. Honigman separated from Dr. Brunn. Setting aside his business rationale, there was no notification to the patients. Additionally, when I made inquiry, his staff gave me vague, evasive answers implying that Dr Brunn may return. When I finally saw Dr. Honigman because my daughters needed well visits before school, I was advised that Dr. Brunn would not be returning. I felt I was lied to by Dr. Honigman and his staff to keep me with his practice. I would have never been with Dr. Honigman's practice with

Dr Honigman is a volatile man who lacks concern for his patients well being. He seemed more concerned about the number of people in his waiting room than my son's health. He seemed annoyed when I asked him questions and was condescending and rude during the entire examination. There are many pediatricians out there to choose from and ones far better suited for the pediatric medical profession. Dr Honigman should retire as he is doing a disservice to the medical profession.

Dr. Honigman is a knowledgeable, funny, patient doctor. We've been going to him for over a decade and have always left his office feeling satisfied knowing we're in good hands.
