Friendly welcome by staff and colleagues. Dr Howell enters the room with a smile and a shot but has a way of making you feel at ease as he administering a shot. Always a good visit!

Dr. Richard Howell did surgery on my left hand .He is now sending me to Physical Therapy which will help me to strengthen my hand.I am glad to have been a patient of Dr. Howell and would recommend him to my family or friends.

I had a good experience with Dr. Howell ten years ago for my other carpal tunnel surgery and I fully trust his expertise in this subject matter to perform my other surgery. During my appointments he clearly explained what was happening, and after further nerve studies showed that the carpal tunnel had progressed to the point of needing the release surgery. We then discussed the plan and what the recovery expectations would generally be.

Having been Dr Howell’s patient some years ago, I knew this was going to be a good visit! He explained what was causing the pain and what he needed to do to alleviate it. I left knowing I was on the road to recovery. Dr Howell is personable, professional and approachable. It was indeed a good choice of a physician and a good visit.

Very professional

Dr. Howell is very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He entered the treatment room on my first visit well prepared, having reviewed my x-rays from the ER after I broke two joints and a bone in my hand from a fall. He explained the treatment plan to me, why he positioned my hand the way he did in the splint, and answered all questions clearly. He had his PA follow up every couple of weeks with x-rays to insure one bone in particular did not shift out of place, hoping to avoid a need for surgery. It was a success! No surgery needed, the breaks are now fully healed. I'm finishing up therapy to regain strength and function, and have had good progress.

Dr. Howell is very professional to talk to. He explained the possibilities regarding my hand very well. Although it's nerve-wracking, I am ready for my hand surgery and have great trust in Dr. Howell. I know I can handle this for my recovery. I will just wait for my surgery schedule. I am happy that he is my doctor.

First, the facility was well run and on time. No wait period. Impressive. The young lady who checked me in and assisted Dr. Howell was friendly, thorough, and made me very comfortable. Dr. Howell talked me through every procedure, from start to finish. He was so personable and kind, making me feel very relaxed and comfortable during the surgery. Dr Howell explains all my options and works with me, allowing me to decide which route I choose to go my issue.

Dr. Howell's staff allowed us to be seated in a conference room within five minutes of our appointment time. This was greatly appreciated. Dr. Howell has worked with me with my thumb and arthritis. We will need surgery.

Dr Howell was very precise in his surgery and explain the procedure as he performed it. He was also very cautious about infection control and follow up after the surgery.

Dr. Howell has a fabulous manner about him- kind and professional. He performed a surgery on my son’s finger to remove a cyst close to the nailbed. He was great at explaining everything so that my son understood what was happening. He encouraged questions and was very professional during the procedure.
