I am an active patient for 5 years and called about 2 weeks ago as I had another questionable skin growth. I have a history of numerous skin cancers and knew I needed to see the doctor a.s.a.p. I was told not until February by whom ever answered the phone in his office. I tried to explain that I had a couple spots and growths that needed attention. I again " February is the soonest" So I requested to be placed on their cancellation list and was told " we do not do that ". I thought being a patient already with a history of skin cancer they would be able to get me in under a month. No was the answer and the attitude was as if I was being outrageous to ask!! Guess that is the end of that office for me and I would not send any new people in that direction. Hopefully Dr. Hussey will see this so if he does not know how his patients are being treated on the phone , he will now.

I am 85 years old and have seen so many doctors over the years that I have forgotten many names, however, one name tops my list and that is Dr. Hussy. His medical knowledge is excellent, his nature is the same. In all the years of seeing him, one never has to wait for but a few minutes to meet your appointment time. I do not know how he does it.

I have been seeing Shannon since 2006 when I had spots on my face, chest and lip, some of which were concerning. Shannon was proactive, doing biopsies on several areas, confirming pre-cancer. Shannon provided advice and a treatment plan, the outcome being spots are no longer present. I feel blessed to have Shannon as one of my health care professionals.

I went to Myrtle Beach Dermatology and was only able to see the nurse who is married to Dr.Hussey she was unprofessional and did not give me good service.

Called on 9/22/16 for an appointment, was told the closest appt. Is January, 2017, with a nurse pract.! Seriously??!!! No thanks! This guy is not God!!!

Dr. Hussey is extremely knowledgeable in all things dermatologic. I have been a patient for a long time and have had excellent diagnosis and care. I highly recommend him!
