Dr. Richard Jamison, MD

There are just no words to describe how much I adore Dr Jamison! He really is such a phenomenal doctor as well as an all around amazing human being! My husband and I are so very truly grateful we found him years ago.

I had a condition that other OBGYN's could not identify and treat. Dr. Jameson know exactly what the issue was and spent a good amount of time explaining the issue. He is also very kind and compassionate.

I went to Dr. Jamison first as a new patient for a wellness exam (pap smear) and later returned for a colposcopy due to an abnormal Pap smear. The doctor was very friendly, professional and thorough. He explained everything so that I was able to understand what was being done during each procedure and why. He has a very calming energy which I greatly appreciate as I am not good with doctors offices/hospitals etc. and get very anxious. I would highly recommend him and will continue to go to him as long as he is in practice. Thank you for your care and expertise!

If you haven't recieved the Covid vaccine, I don't recommend becoming a patient with him. He will make sure to chastise you while doing your pelvic exam as he did with me on my last visit. Everyone can make their own choices and to have a physician talk down to you because of his beliefs is unacceptable. I will never step foot in his office again.

Came to see Dr Jamison for uterine prolapse issue. He listened to my history, did a thorough exam then explain his recommended treatment. He answered all my questions

I have been going to Dr. Jamison for 14 years and would follow him if he ever changed practices. Have sent several others to him because across the board, best doctor in my rolodex. He is never in a hurry. Thoughtfully and compassionately does the exams and answers every question in the same manner. I count on him running behind for my appointment, because he often is - but because he never tries to make up the time at my expense, it is always worth it. And in fact, I smile knowing he is treating those ahead of me the same way he will me. Bonus points - he's called me at home to followup on a few things through the years. Really, he's priceless.

Dr. Jamison is a wonderful and compassionate physician and surgeon. I have been his patient for nearly 18 years and I have always felt comfortable with his care and advice. I have had a bumpy gynocological road and he has seen me through it all. Most of all he LISTENS to me and respects my wishes. He is fantastic!

He is very approachable. Answers all questions and explains everything fully. Would recommend!!!!

Dr. Jamison is the model for what all doctors should be. He is both attentive, listens and carefully considers the problem, he is kind, considerate and gentle (important!) and provided good suggestions. I will very highly recommend him.

Always attentive and takes his time to explain things

Dr Jamison is a really amazing OB, he delivered my son and did an excellent job in an emergency c section. Im having a planned c section this time with my daughter and brought my son in to a check up appointment, we were so happy to see him! He is very kind, smart, thorough, caring and compassionate. He made my sons visit special, just overall an excellent doctor!

I was referred to Dr Jamison for gynecological care. He is a wonderful clinician , makes potentially uncomfortable procedures easier to deal with, and listens patiently to all of my questions . His instructions are thorough, gives a good plan of care and is so patient. Wish I had know him when I was having babies. He is a delight.

Dr. Jamison is the best doctor I could ask for. He is kind, compassionate, and listens. He’s a seasoned Dr with many years under his belt. I was referred to him by a friend after being told by my previous dr I’d never have kids. He had faith with us that even though I might have lower chances, he wasn’t going to throw in the towel. When he felt it was necessary, he referred my husband and I to a specialist and told us to come back to him when I was pregnant. I continued with my annual checkup with him and after a year with the specialist I was back in Dr. J’s office starting OB appointments and now have a 6 week old little boy. I will go to Dr. J as long as I possibly can!

Dr. Jamison is the most gentle, caring doctor ever. He sincerely listens to you and always make you feel comfortable. He explains everything and never makes you feel like he is rushing to the next patient. I would highly recommend him as an OB or gynecological doctor.

The most amazing doctor, ive been under his care for almost a decade and he has delivered both of my children via C-section the second pregnancy was high risk almost all the way through I couldn't have done it without him. I could talk with him about anything. He really cares about his patients. Our family has so much love Dr. Jamison and his practice.

I received amazing care by Dr. Jamison and the team at gulf coast OB/GYN during a difficult pregnancy. I’m externally grateful for them and the safe delivery of my precious baby girl.

I absolutely love Dr. Jamison and his staff. He and his guided throughout my pregnancy and made it a process. Dr. Jamison performed my C-SECTION and he did a phenomenal job. I will not see anyone else unless it is within this group. Throughout my pregnancy I met with all the midwives and two other OBGYN and they made me feel comfortable.

I do not have enough kind and honest words to share about Dr. Jamison. He is kind, compassionate, loving, and patient and takes the time to address his patients concerns and he cares to make you feel comfortable with any health decision you decide to make. I feel blessed that he took such wonderful care of me with both of my 3 pregnancies and was the person to bring my babies into this world. It was truly an Honor to call him my doctor and to have him share in such special memories in our lives! Im forever grateful to him for taking such wonderful care during my last 2 pregnancies. If you want a knowledgeable and loving doctor to take care of you as if you were his own family and someone that has the extensive experience to handle even the most complicated situations then you found the best doctor. He Is the perfect example of what a good doctor should be and you can tell he loves his profession and his patients love him.

I hav spotting after a bladder lift and cauterizing didn’t cure it. Do I went to a doc in the practice and he asked dr Jamison to advise. Jamison said we’ll go in and snip the stitches and that will cure it. He took the easy way out and no my bladder has fallen. Terrible. Going thru 2 surgeries and dr Jamison’s surgery causes my bladder to fall again. Omg. Beware of this office and Jamison!
