Amazing and kind
Dr Jones is so kind and has a wonderful bedside manner. Very knowledgeable and listens to and addressed all my concerns about my son.

Satisfied
Friendly staff, clean facility, lab on-site, x-ray on-site. Eat before you come because the smell of good food permeates the air.

Left me questioning
Dr Jones checked my arms elbows then did X-ray on my knees. I seen him for Fibromyalgia on my referral. He said I was there for Rheumatoid Arthritis. I left scratching my head and was given a bottle of Tumeric to take. ??. Never checked me for what I came him for. I am in pain daily and don’t sleep well. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 18 yrs ago. I needed a dr to help with treatment not a spice pill, that upsets my stomach.

Horrible
Horrible. My mother was seen for years and all they did was steroids. Went to another arthritis doctor and was diagnosed without even having to have X-rays because it’s so bad. The doctor was astounded that she has been so under treated. So are we! Very angry.

I would highly recommend looking for a different Rheumatologist. After ten years as a patient I'm leaving this clinic. First of all you don't see Dr. Jones you see a nurse practitioner. Patient loyalty means nothing to them. They charge for EVERYTHING. $7.50 for a prescription, $5.00 to fill out a handicap tag form , $10 to $ 20 for disabilities forms on top of your visit and lab costs. Routinely let me run out of my RA meds (enbrel) . They no longer treat pain and cut their pain patients off of their pain meds with no warning or explanation. (I understand the laws etc.. concerning pain meds but to just cut you off cold turkey is cruel because of the withdrawal symptoms you have to suffer through. Especially when you have been fully compliant.) Overall the care here has steadily deteriorated.

Been a patient for 15 years. Prescription expired and can't get in for a month so have an appointment yet Ms. Brenda refuses to refill one time because have not been in for a year. It's their procedure and does not matter that I might have a painful problem, does not matter that labs will be useless because have not had medicine for 3 weeks before check up, does not matter that I have lab work at yearly physical!! Never seen such a callous disregard for patient well being and it's seems like priority is about getting patients in for billing.

Promises but no real results. Some people only see the CRNP's others have to wait for the doc and he makes plenty of promises. Very likable doc but doesn't follow through or leaves everything up to the nurses when he leaves the room. Do yourself a favor and go to Birmingham. When you do decide to go to another doc they charge for your records and/or make it extremely difficult to get them transferred.

I didn't see Dr Jones personally, but I was at his large clinic for Rheumatic Diseases & I left more discouraged than I've ever been. No one cares that I'm very sick. I told the Dr that I'll leave this world if I have to deal with a certain symptom, and I got NOTHING back. As a Surgical Nurse myself (can't work or drive anymore), I vowed to treat others as I'd want to be treated, ESPECIALLY in a hospital or medical setting. There was a very rude nurse and radiology tech. I left hysterical, thx.
