The staff was lovely: they were patient, kind, friendly, and treated me with respect, care, and professionalism. Dr. Kaplan is amazing and his staff is as well.

I highly recommend The Kaplan Center for oral surgery procedures. Dr. Kaplan & staff are very professional and welcoming. Personal service with a smile is standard. Dr. Kaplan is extremely confident and reassuring. I came in for three implants after my regular dentist extracted the three teeth. He and his staff took time to answer all my concerns and even advised that the third implant was unnecessary! The bone graft, and implant post placement went so smoothly and painlessly as was the recovery…very little bleeding and almost no post-surgery discomfort or pain. I was suffering major pain on my left side from sinusitis and a cracked upper wisdom tooth. When my dentist saw this tooth’s root was inside the sinus cavity he recommended extraction and referred me to oral surgeon, Dr. Richard W. Kaplan. I called Dr. Kaplan's office and Megan, receptionist, was very kind and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Kaplan forthwith. After praying and meeting Dr. Kaplan and his team, immediately I felt in good hands. His assistants, Karen and Joele were very sweet and my procedure was exactly as Dr. Kaplan had explained. The technique was painless and expedited healing with no bleeding or swelling and a quick recovery. A week later the pocket is dry and the sinus infection is gone. I’m very grateful to Dr. Kaplan’s expertise and his compassionate, professional team. I would highly recommend The Kaplan Center without hesitation.

He answered all my questions in thorough detail, and even followed up with a phone call after hours the day of my surgery to check in on how I was doing. Genuine professional and I would recommend all to his practice!

There is ABSOLUTELY nothing negative to say! From my initial office visit to the follow up personal phone call from Dr. Kaplan to see how I was doing. My surgery involved removal of a cyst, a tooth, and bone grafting. My situation seemed to be a little more than basic due to the size of the cyst. The procedure took less than 90 minutes and I do not feel any pain or discomfort; no swelling or bleeding and I am eight hours removed since surgery. Dr. Kaplan has quite a following from other dentist in the area that referred me to him and stories from Hospital staff that have used him to care for themselves and their children. He is thorough, professional and personable. I also don’t want to forget his office staff, and the St. Mary’s staff, warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door!

Dr. Kaplan exceeded my family's expectations. He is knowledgeable, professional, experienced and provides top-notch care. He takes time with his patients to make sure they are comfortable with and understand the procedure. My oral surgery experience was painless! His staff is also kind, patient, and professional. Had a tooth extraction amd bone build up for future implant. Not usually a fan to the dentist office. Had a consultation or Dr. Kaplan explained what he would be doing and also told me that he would be doing IV sedation which I’ve never had done before. The day of my appointment the doctor was right on time went into the room where they take care of their surgical procedures they asked me how I was feeling ans if I had any questions. They hooked me up to a blood pressure machine oxygen machine gave me oxygen put the needle in my arm and said will see you in a little bit the next thing I know I woke up a half hour later and everything was done. I did not hear anything that was going on in the room and did not feel anything. That’s the way to go at the dentist office. I had a great first experience with Dr. Kaplan‘s office or the ladies that work there the front desk. I would recommend Dr. Kaplan to anyone looking for a oral surgeon.

Dr.Kaplan is an amazing oral surgeon. He is professional, kind, caring, compassionate and reassuring. He has such an amazing “bed side manner”!! After having a surgeon look to see if I needed to have my 2 implants removed, I left that office in tears. When I went to Dr Kaplan for a 2nd opinion, he made me feel calm and confident!!!!! The surgery to have my 2 implants removed with bone grafts and the next surgery to put the 2 implants back went without a hitch!! I highly recommend Dr Kaplan. I would never go to see anyone else.

Dr. Kaplan is the epitome of a true professional. he is a gentleman that is not pretentious and explains everything thoroughly with a genuine degree of humility. His caring attitude is contagious and carries forward with his wonderful staff. He provided I.V therapy for me as well as general anesthesia with literally no discomfort. I highly recommend him for any oral surgery. He bears excellent medical credentials and experience but it is his personal attention that makes him a stand out surgeon. There is a reason Dr. Kaplan has so many 5 star reviews and it is because he is truly amazing at what he does!!! It’s not often that you have to see an oral surgeon but after my visit, I was telling everyone I knew, if they ever needed oral surgery that they HAD to go to Dr. Kaplan. Every aspect of my experience was perfect. I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth and was very anxious about the procedure but he has such a kind and nurturing personality and he honestly put my mind at total ease which i was so grateful for at the time because i have very bad anxiety. You can tell he genuinely cares about the health and well being of his patients and he’s extremely knowledgeable as well. His staff is also so wonderful, involved, and informative! Look no further!! He’s your guy!

My visit to Dr. Kaplan was the best dental appointment I have ever had in my life. I needed surgery and I was petrified because of past experiences in this field. Dr. Kaplan is very kind, reassuring and amazing at what he does. I had two procedures done with him, not a single minute of pain and I feel great. I am in the best hands possible. His staff is very kind as well. If anyone needs a Maxilofacial surgeon and wants the best, Dr. Kaplan is the person to see.

Doctor Kaplan is an excellent oral surgeon that I trust and highly recommend. I’ve had two oral surgery experiences with him and both went very well with no complications. He is compassionate and explains the procedure thoroughly . His staff are competent and helpful in every respect.

I had two tooth extractions from him. The first tooth extraction he left a bone Shard inside my gums which remained there until I demanded have to relook at it. The staff is condescending. Several years later I called about pain in the gum area where the surgery had taken place and the staff would not let me come see the doctor to take a look and told me to see a dentist because there's no way it was their responsibility.

I was referred to Dr. Kaplan for a dental implant. This was my first time getting a dental implant, and as you can imagine I was extremely anxious about the procedure. Dr. Kaplan had an absolutely wonderful bedside manner, and answered my long list of questions and concerns. His staff was equally amazing, and I can say it was the best medical/dental experience I have ever had. It has been six months since my implant, and I can say it has been truly life-changing to be able to smile with confidence again! Thank you Dr. Kaplan. You're the best!

I am so extremely pleased with his work in removing unusually large tori from bottom pallet of my jaw. In 1998, I had smaller tori removed by another surgeon, & the difference with Dr Kaplan was like night & day. He did an outstanding job! This procedure by Dr Kaplan was outpatient surgery with general anesthesia at St Mary’s, & my experience with them was parallel: Dr Green, the anesthesiologist for my procedure, her team & the medical staff there were knowledgeable in their field, attentive & very caring. Tony & Milli in pre-op, & Alyssa & another nurse in recovery were exceptional! Dr Kaplan, Karen & team are outstanding; always receptive, kind & professional. This is the “A” team! Dr Kaplan also did a great job in removing wisdom teeth from both our boy’s mouth, 3 years ago. Dr Kaplan has a excellent bedside manner should a issue arise. My family & I are very pleased with Dr Kaplan & his practice. We would recommend him & his team for your oral and maxillofacial surgical needs. ??
