Good Physician, Poor Bedside Manner
I began with Dr. Lucidi after trying to get pregnant on my own for 2 years and having an early miscarriage. He was very thorough during the first couple of visits and explained things well. He found that I had a uterine polyp and a blocked tube very quickly and signed me up for surgery. That's when the problems first began. He rescheduled my surgery 3 separate times due to miscommunications with the surgery center. I work at the same hospital and coordinate surgeries at that center and discovered they didn't even get my posting for surgery until the week of. He forgot to call in post op meds for me. That subsequent pregnancy was ectopic, obviously at no fault of his. However, when I had MTX twice and was in the hospital about to have emergent surgery he never personally followed up with me. It was incredibly traumatic and I felt like he didn't care at all. I ended up switching providers and am much happier with Dr. New's bedside manner. Pregnancy is emotional, your doctor should care.

Dr. Lucidi is genuinely the best doctor that I've ever had. I've never been a fan of doctor visits, and dealing with RE issues is even less fun. Dr. Lucidi has an easy, calm manner which makes him very accessible. He was also very knowledgeable about all kinds of fertility issues and quickly addressed my concerns. He was also very willing to consider all my needs and concerns including the financial concerns which is very rare in these situations. I couldn't recommend Dr. Lucidi more.
