Minimized our family member's health problems
An elderly family member who was frail and had a poor cardiac status had been referred to hospice twice within two months. Dr. Marino told us that our family member had years, not months to live and gave our family false hope about her life expectancy. She died within 6 months of her discharge from Dr. Marino's care without the support of hospice. She could have used the services of hospice and been discharged from Hospice if her health status had improved. Family members could have used the 13 months bereavement care that is a vital part of hospice care. Please know that if you are referred to Hospice that there is at least one physician who believes that you are appropriate for this level of care.

He is extremely unprofessional and unqualified. He appears to be careless with his patients. He is rude, arrogant and disrespectful to people working under him. I would not allow him to touch me or family.
