Dr. Richard Mastrole, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mastrole for over 20 years. In July, on my 77 birthday, I fell, broke both elbows, and was taken to Broward General for trauma treatment including surgery. A few days later I called Dr. Mastrole to tell him what happened. I got Alicia his assistant and told her what happened. She told Dr. Mastrole who said 'I wish her well'. When asked if he would get on the phone with me, he said 'no'. Just tell her I wish her well. My regular appointment with him was cancelled and I never heard from him again. I was hoping he would attend to my care while I was at Broward General. I was then transferred to an acute rehab and he never called to see how I was doing nor did he follow my care when I was again transferred to a subacute rehab at John Knox. I have since retired and moved. Maybe he should do the same.

I love Dr. Mastrole.. He is the most caring and thorough Doctor I have ever known. As a senior citizen, it is so important to have a doctor like him!

The best doctor in the world is useless to me if I can’t get in touch with him.

Dr Mastrole is a very caring man, always asking me questions, listening to my responses & recommending the very best for my needs. He never rushes through his appointment with me & I am very grateful to have him as my internist.

My husband and I come from Lake Placid Fl ,he is the most caring thoughtful and someone who makes you feel like family I wish he would never have to retire until then we will be happy with him he is the best!

On this visit I waited in both waiting & examination rooms. He listened to my symptoms and prescribed two medications. It has now been a week and the symptoms are the same. I am calling today to see if Dr. Mastrole can refer me to an Ear, Nose & Throat Doctor.

Reminds me of what doctors were years ago. Ask a question get a answer. He is thoughtful and takes an interest in your concerns. I have total confidence in him!

Always on time and he takes time to listen to my questions. Gives me thoughtful answers to my concerns. Very professional!

Dr. Mastrole is an outstanding physician and a particularly great diagnostician. He listens carefully, asks excellent questions and then gives careful, specific directions for dealing with various concerns and issues. His memory is amazing but he obviously embraces all technological assistance and uses it for the benefit of his patients. We particularly appreciate that he allows us (my wife and I) to be present for each other's checkup as this enables us to be particularly thorough when going over our yearly list! Hope to be his patient for at least another 30 years!!

Dr Mastrole has been my PCP for over 10 years, and I dread the day he decides to retire. He is awesome, really takes the time to know his patients and listen to them. He is funny too!!!!

Dr Masterole is my husband Dr. I went for the first time and I loved him. So down to earth. He listened and ask the right questions. He made me feel very comfortable. Great vibe! and personality. His staff has the same vibe.

Dr. Mastrole is the most compassionate physician that I have ever visited. He listens and and then explains the answers to my questions in language that is very easy to understand. He is an excellent diagnostician and will research a health issue until he finds a suitable therapeutic solution. His staff is very professional and is very protective of my privacy. My appointment is never rushed.
