Dr Ott is amazing. I was transferred to Anahiem Regional because of an abnormal nuclear stress test. It was determined that I needed quintuple bypass surgery. Dr Ott came to my room and explained what it was and how he will perform the bypass. He explained in a calm and reassuring voice. I came out of surgery fine, no complications and was at home rehabbing within 5 days. Amazing, just amazing his demeanor and skill level. Thank you Dr Ott!

I probably wouldn’t be alive if it hadn’t been for this great doctor. I am going strong almost a year and a half later! I was so lucky to get transferred from Hemet to Orange County!

Dr. Ott saved my wifes life.
My wife had a sudden cardiac event and was rushed to Orange Count Global Medical center. She went straight into the trauma ICU and after stabilization she was introduced to Dr. Ott. He was very straightforward and calm and explained the urgency of the situation and that he had a lot of experience in this specific area of cardiac surgery. As scary as open heart surgery can be, his personality put my wife at ease. The surgery was a success and Dr. Ott made daily visits to her room as she recovered. His staff is very prompt and professional in setting up follow up visits as well as explaining what to expect during the prolonged recovery process. It was a blesssing to have him for my wifes surgery. You are in very good hands with Dr. Ott.

September 13, 2023 Dr Ott the best. Highly recomm.
Emergency room visit on 9-13-2023. Had surgery at night. Woke up with no complications. Being diabetic was expecting long time to heal. But healing going well. No complications. Ready to continue a normal life with the help of everyone involved with my heath care. Thanks to everyone who helped me through this difficult journey.

Very Professional.
Went to the Anaheim Regional Hospital for a cardiac evaluation, not even thinking in having an hearth surgery the next day. Spoke with Dr Ott and he explained in a very friendly way the reason why the surgery was required. Dr Ott and his his amazing team replaced the Mitral Valve in my hearth. After ten days I was released continuing my recovery at home with a constant follow with Theresa, Dr Ott assistant. Everithing was amazing and I felt in good hands with the best nurses assisting me during the recovery time in the hospital.

I'm Paul King & Dr Ott removed a tumor from my heart, did a single by pass, & removed 2 nodules from my lungs on 4/22/2023. He saved my life. I appreciate medical providers who are direct and lay it out for you without any hesitation or sugarcoating. Dr Ott is not only a great surgeon but person as well. He has my 5 STAR rating in all areas.

Incredible surgeon
Dr. Ott performed a sextuple, yes that’s six heart bypasses on me. I was relieved to have been assigned a surgeon who has performed over 8,000 surgeries.

Last year my husband needed a main valve Transplant. Our cardiologist Dr. Miller got Dr. Ott to do the surgery. I know if it wasn't for these 2 doctors my husband would not be here today. I thank God every day for the team of doctors and the care he received at Anaheim Reginal hospital.

Dr. Ott coordinated my cardiac care with cardiologist and other physicians for a stroke, cardiac stents, pacemaker and pericardial window. He continues to watch over me and my cardiac needs. Exceptional Man. A patient 2007 - current.

Dr. Ott saved my life there is no doubt. I had quadruple by surgery Aug 8th 2016 during the night suffered a rupture and had tremendous blood loss and many complications to follow. Only had a 10 percent chance of surviving. Dr. Ott made every right decision and did everything he could and after 21 days in CVU I was discharged to a rehabilitation hospital and a year later feel great. My family said he took his time and talked with them and kept them completely informed of everything he was doing.

Dr. Ott is just an angel sent from heaven. He saved my dad's life, he was given a 2% chance of survival, another surgeon refused to operate on him & advised me to take him home & call my siblings to spend as much time they could with dad cause he was a walking time bomb. Dr. Ott came & said I will operate on him tomorrow surgery will be about 6 hrs, he was done in 3 hrs, did a beautiful job saving my dads life and bringing life back to me. 6 bypasses, valve replacement, thoracic aneurysm repair

I went to the ER with cardiac symptoms and after an angiogram and nuclear stress test was told I needed quadruple bypass surgery. It was a frightening prospect because I have diabetes that makes surgery and post-op care more complicated. When I met Dr. Ott, his confidence and sincere encouragement put me at ease immediately. Turns out his confidence is well earned by his tremendous experience. I couldn't be more grateful to him. It's been 6 weeks and I feel stronger every day.

Try to scheduled appointment with Dr.Ott , called his office 5 different times and date, still no call back from office manager, leave voice mail urgent to Dr.Ott, no call back from Dr.Ott. Unprofessional staff and most of all DO NOT CARE about patient feeling. Bottom-line is Why would you want a surgeon operating on You or Your family member, he do not even care to call his patient back.

Dr Ott saved my life. Aorta Heart value replacement in 2014. I was released from the hospital in 3 Days. Feb 2016 I was admitted with a blood infection, my aorta heart value, tricuspid value had to be replaced and my ICD unit along with an abscess in my heart. I have been told by many Dr's I am lucky to be alive and Dr Ott probably was the only Dr that could handle my condition. Thank you Dr Ott and all the medical professionals that took care of me.
