Best office ever.
I love coming to Dr. Parkinson's office. All the staff are friendly and helpful. It feels bright and cheery. Liz is the best dermatologic provider I have been to. She listens and takes care of my needs. She always makes the time to assure my concerns are addressed.

Left terrible scars!
Both my son and daughter had moles that needed to be surgically removed. Moles that were less than a quarter inch wide, Both of them have 3 inch long scars with huge train tracks across them from the sutures. There was no care to minimize the incision or to reduce scarring. When I tried to go for a follow up with my concerns I was told that I would have to pay for an appointment and the Dr. would not talk to me about my concerns about the procedure not being done properly without me paying for an appointment.

Basal cell treatment
I had a basal cell biopsied 3 years ago. The biopsy removed the basal. No more growth on my clavicle. Dr Parkinson said I needed radiation on my clavicle. I asked where the growth was? Why the radiation? Got a 2nd opinion. No need for radiation. Don’t let them talk you into radiation, especially for a basal and esp when there’s no further growth.

Dr. Parkinson seems great...if you ever actually see him. My wife was a pt there and we had a horrendous experience, with Jim taking her off all the medications she had been on for years, some of which cannot or should not be stopped immediately. She told him that she didnt feel like that was even feasable, and NOT reccomended by any doctor aside from him. He told her if she got depressed to "just serve others" apparently he is unaware of chemical imbalances abruptly stopping meds can create. She had a complete mental breakdown, nearly admitted to a psych ward.......needless to say, we will NEVER go back there. The office didnt call to check on her a single time, however are bombarding us now over paying them.....To sum things up, it seems they are extremely concerned about getting that $$$$ not so mich about the patient they advised to go off all meds. Save yourself the frustration, as well as the money.

All Dr are great but the office staff struggles. I have been a patient for 30 years. I recently received a call saying they were going to send me to collections. I never received a notice. I paid the bill on the spot. I’ve paid all bills over 30 years. So, with this I will be looking for a new Dr they need to look and see a bill has never NOT been paid.
