Terrible experience in ER. Dr Plummer
Physician was totally disrespectful, called me an inappropriate name and was inept in caring for my friend. He told us her potassium was 2.8, only 0.6 from normal and she had a little problem with her kidneys and sent her home. Looking at the papers her potassium was 2.5 which is a critical level and her GFR was 14. We took her to Park West and they were on top of it! She is still in the hospital, they were appalled that she wasn’t treated in Morristown! I would give him a zero on the star rating if it would let me.

My husband was admitted to Morristown Hamblen Hospital with weakness, stiff neck, fever, confusion,high blood pressure,at one point 213/110. After blood test were done, Dr Plummer was sending him home! When I questioned him as to how I could care for him at home in his condition, he said'Put him in a nursing home! Very rude! We asked for house supervisor who was aghast when she heard the story had husband admitted. He had hypertensive Encephalopathy and was in hospital 11 days! I reported him. Beware.
