I found the expertise of Dr. Richard Rosa to be amazing. I had a total knee replacement in January and the surgery was a huge success-- at 8 weeks I no longer need PT and I'm walking well. The whole admin and prep process went smoothly, from the initial consult, to the preoperative imaging, labs, discharge instructions, and then PT with all staff members being responsive to questions. I highly recommend Dr. Rosa and his staff.

I underwent Total Knee Replacement on 12/21/23 in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. The care provided from pre op in Dr. Rosa's office to the OR & post op/Physical Therapy treatment in the ASC & follow up visits in Dr. Rosa's office were excellent. Dr. Rosa is my Rock Star! Along with his nurse Jennifer, Jessica his surgery coordinator and all of his staff! My recovery has been excellent due to Dr. Rosa’s excellent surgery skills. I had a total left knee replacement. I was up and moving the day after surgery. I followed his instructions and have an excellent result! He is very straight forward, answers your questions and explains the surgery in layman terms. I always see him in a timely manner for every appt at his office, which is always clean. Dr. Rosa , his PA Jennifer and the office staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I was a runner for many years which caused both knees to become very arthritic and swell with activity. Tried everything to avoid surgery. Made an appointment with Dr. Rosa to discuss my next option. I liked him immediately and felt confident based on his expertise that it was time for surgery. I had a full left knee replacement in March of 2021 which was so successful that I had my right knee done in November of 2022. I am two months out and I cannot be more happy - completed PT and ready to resume my pre-op workouts. Thank you Dr. Rosa and staff!!

In mid-December ’22, I had total knee replacement by Dr. Richard Rosa, Summit Health, West Orange, NJ. I am completely pleased with the result. I was walking un-aided and didn’t need the pain meds (oxycodone) within 2 days of surgery. I had read about the long, painful recovery from TKR surgery for years and was ready. The most painful part of my recovery was the physical therapy. I’m 30 days out now. My result was much better than I had anticipated and I’m very optimistic about the future. I attribute my incredible result to the skill of my surgeon.
