Dr. Richard Staehler, MD

Poor, and rushed multiple times. Found a different provider.

He is always caring and really try’s to get to the bottom of the problem and doesn’t give up until he has pinpointed it and fixes it.

I have been seeing Dr. Staehler for several years first for cervical spine issues and then for lumbar spine issues. The cervical spine issues have been resolved through surgery by another surgeon. Given the condition of my congenital disk disease, scoliosis, age, and after discussion with Dr. Staehler and doing my own online research, I am now having periodic lumbar nerve blocks to alleviate pain. I would of course, prefer a permanent fix to take away the pain, but Dr. Staehler was very good at explaining the condition of my spine and the complications of surgery given my particular spinal conditions. He is friendly and most caring during treatments and expresses concern for how I am doing throughout the treatment. I am confident that continuing treatment with him is my best option for living a normal life. He has my highest respect and confidence.

12+ years with this doc-fractured vertebrae never healed correctly + pain/burning/muscle spasms/sciatica. Never did urine drug screen until last appt. He called next day and said either I was selling my patches or was giving them away cuz they didn't show up on the test. Called the lab that did the test and they said he would have had to order a specific test. Other doctors verified this. Couldn't afford any more procedures & no longer profitable patient so got rid of me. All other docs awesome!

Highly recommend Dr. Staehler. Kind and sincere caring about your health, no pretending. Explains everything so you understand. He has treated me for frozen shoulder in the past and now cervical degeneration/herniated disc/stenosis.

May 12, 2016 I saw Dr. Staehler several times a couple of years ago & felt he did indeed take time to talk with me about what he was doing & what we were finding out. I accept that sometimes with pain it is not always easy to see on a picture (MRI) or easy to find the perfect answer immediately. I was not ready for surgery as I knew of some that did not work but now if it is felt it will help, I will . In pain again, I have made another appointment w/ Dr. Staehler .

Does not listen to a word that comes out of your mouth. He would tell me to hold on after I would ask him a question, leave the room and say he would be right back, and the next thing I know the appointment would be over without my questions being answered. i've also noticed that I am being charged for the use of an ultrasound during my injections but he never uses it. Dr. Wascher from the same office did my neck surgery and was amazing though!
